Modavie est un lieu intemporel qui nous rappelle nos racines, où dames & messieurs se réunissent pour manger dans une atmosphère animée causée par de bonnes conversations, de la musique live et les parfums boisés d’une salle vintage. Né en 1997, il est rapidement devenu populaire parmi les locaux et les visiteurs, et est maintenant considéré comme une institution montréalaise.
Régalez-vous avec une cuisine française raffinée dans un espace antique et tamisé sur deux étages. Du classique tartare de bœuf, au savoureux ris de veau, en passant par la fameuse ratatouille, vos envies seront facilement rassasiées.

We visited here on Memorial Day weekend from the U.S. This place was hard to find due to the construction, but it was crowded on Sunday. We ordered the brunch tower, small foie gras, & mimosas. The tower was impressive & caught the attention of other customers. I liked the salmon dish the most. The jazz band was also great. I definitely recommend this restaurant in Montreal.Voir plus

We had an amazing meal at Modavie. Our server, George, gave us great suggestions from the wine to main dishes to desserts. Everything was on point. He was very attentive & friendly. Go for the lamb chops. They are to die for! My son has the mussels & my husband had the duck- both superb. In addition, there's live music which gives the experience a nice touch. We stopped in unexpectedly after an early show in Vieux-Port. Lorenzo greeted us & treated my family & I very well. Our server Patrice was excellent & the food was superb. I had the Confit de Canard (with Foie Gras add on) & it was probably the best duck confit I've ever had. I'd like to go back for an evening when there is music but our time in town probably won't allow it. Definitely would recommend.Voir plus

Hello, I was at your restaurant last evening & what an amazing experience because of Sal. We were going to be seating at a table but he said no sit at the bar & he didn't disappoint us. Had supper & drinks with friends on Saturday night during the F1 events. We sat at the bar & were very pleased with the attention & service we received. The bartender, Sal, did a fantastic job. He made excellent recommendations regarding food & his cocktails were amazing. The life band was playing at the same time, so we had an added benefit of life music during our visit.
