The food here was unbelievable. Delicious bread for the table, my friends & I had the cheese platter, breakfast poutine, pesto gnocchi, french toast, chicken caesar salad, basque chicken, mimosas. Out of this world may just be the best food we have ever had!!!Voir plus

Lovely place for date night! We went for a girls dinner as we were visiting for The Weeknd. The team is so accommodating & the food was delicious. We got the lamb shank as they're known for it. Sooooo good. Also the cheesecake was 10/10- The jazz bands adds something special upstairs. Make sure to request to sit near the music because the restaurant is big.Voir plus

Nous avions eu de très bonnes soirées au Modavie par le passé & étions heureux d'y retourner, cette fois nous étions assis en haut, l'atmosphère la musique & le service sont impeccables, bien que l'excellente musique live nous a paru un peu forte par moment. La morue était généreuse mais trop cuite & accompagnée d'une sauce trop riche. Bien que le repas n'est pas été à la hauteur de nos précédentes visites, le charme du restaurant demeure intact & l'ambiance y est agréable.Voir plus

My girlfriend & I walked past Modavie & saw the menu outside & we were impressed. Buddy our server was very professional & attentive. He gave us a nice description of all the special items. We ordered the Snails & scallops to start & they were delicious. For the second course, we got Duck Confit & the Lamb rack & it was top tier. The cocktail Red Velvet is highly recommended. There was live music. Felt very romantic. If I ever get to go back to Montreal, I will be visiting Modavie every time I am in town. Our server, Alvin, went above & beyond to accommodate a gluten allergy, ensuring a safe & enjoyable meal. His attentiveness & support truly enhanced our dining experience. Lovely dinner, the server is not good at English so he ended up avoiding our table, which was a large group of 7 & we spent around 100 each in wine & dine so I think it was not so bad to get a lame servicd. Water is not refilled & in a rush to finish us up (& our reservation & got pushed back 45 mins later so not our fault we came 2 hours befote last call). The server mentioned the lamb is specialty of restaurant but it clearly did not executed well, there is still unpleasant lamb smell. But the duck is clearly the star of this restaurant, we got the seared duck & the winter pasta (foie gras & duck meat & truffle) which is absolutely amazing. We will come back just for the pasta. Steak also very good, mashed potato is creamy just enough. As travellers, understanding we went to Quebec but hopefully the server can be a bit more proactive (I mean, doesn't really need to speak any English & just being attentive to refill water or give us some lights on the table in the dark corner?)Voir plus

The band playing live house jazz music 👌🏼 we had reservation but we still where seated almost 30 minutes past our reservation time which is ODD cause they will cancel the reservation if you come 15 min late it was a Thursday plus . My husband & I came here on the recommendation of our walking tour guide & we're so glad we did! I had the salad niçoise & my husband had the onion soup & a small Caesar salad.
