Found Mirazu when I was craving Middle Eastern Breakfast.
When you first walk in you see the Saj table, & a woman making freshly baked bread, immediately sets the vibe to the place, they welcome you with free cup of tea, & what made more sense to order for two people was their already planned meal package.
Which will fill your table, eyes & stomach.
So many options to mix & match the heavy Turkish vibe, with the most iconic people on the wall when you first walk in, Very clean & very friendly staff. Also service was amazing.
Overall rating would be 10/10 🫶🏼 I recommend & will visit again for sure!!View more
Honestly, their brunch is so good. A little on the pricey side, but well worth it. A really delicious mix of ingredients & very yummy homemade bread. The pafiks were especially tasty - we had the beef & parsley, & spicy spinach.View more
Delicious food & great quality meats! The homemade bread is so good!View more
The servers were super nice & the food was great. She made some honest recommendations & they were spot on. The shakshuka is eggplant heavy. If that's your thing , go for it. Comes with fruit & coffee & bread... making it feel like a real meal. Great food. Also liked the patio a lot. We also really liked the cirbu? (Yogurt & eggs). Good veggie optionsView more
Excellent. Lovely atmosphere & decor (not too noisy). The food was amazing- we had the cauliflower dish & some dips & bread & another dish with lamb. Server was attentive (& bilingual). Best meal I've had in Montreal.View more
We reserved for brunch ahead of time, but before reserving, we called to ensure there was a choice of vegetarian dishes (without eggs though). We were assured they have choices. Upon seeing the menu, there was a choice of two items only & we were stuck ordering those. Not much of a choice! Regardless, the items we ordered were amazing. Service needs attention. There are no physical menus in English, only in French. We were 5 people & were served 4 bread pieces in our basket. Had to ask for more. We had 3 glasses of water for 5 people & had to ask for the missing glasses. No one came to follow up & we had to ask for a refill water bottle when our water was finished. & then our bills all had mistakes (separate bills & wrong items attributed to wrong person). One dish was charged in double.View more
The brunch menu was impeccable. The taste of this dish was amazing. It had the proper mix of flavours of garlic, oil, eggs & yoghurt with other spices i presume. Fantastic with the sides of delicious soft fresh bread & delicately spiced potatoes. I will definitely return to try another meal.View more
After giving it 5 stars over the years, I am sad I have to change my review. Unfortunately yesterday dinner didn't go as always expected, it seems they have changed the chef, all the appetizers didn't taste the same, the lentil soup was way too spicy (I am usually someone who loves spicy food), the bread was not fresh at all, they have probably heated it up & the mixed grills didn't worth the 100$ for the plate. Waiters were nice when they show up, but the service overall was slow although the place wasn't packed.View more
Great soup. Fresh bread. We shared the chicken breast dish. Delicious. Raki...a little overpriced. Nice people.
Very yummy food
Staff was great
Too bad yaya wasn't there to make the bread
I hadn't been to Mirazu since 2019 & was a little disappointed to see the service isn't as attentive as before & the food, though still good, isn't as thoughtfully prepared. The kaymak was most disappointing, more like whipped cream than true kaymak & the bread wasn't the hot-off-the-grill deliciousness it once was. I hope this was just a one-of meh day & they will soon get back up to their previous standard.
The place was relax & welcoming there was a lady making fresh bread in one side , the music transport me to Istanbul or Anatolia , I enter with a mild cold & the food was so tasty & well prepared that I got better immediately.. this little restaurant is a pearl of Montreal,, thank you so much , totally recommend it
i love this restaurant. really different & great food, homemade flat bread right in front of you, delicious turkish tea, great people serving . friendly too
We went to Mirazu for brunch on a Sunday. The Cibril dish with poached eggs covered with yogurt & spices was excellent, coupled with fresh fruits & Turkish bread. The staff was very welcoming & I would definitely go back soon!
Cengiz, the owner, greeted me & my 2 friends to make us feel welcome. He made good menu recommendations - which were spot on. Our lovely waitress Amina brought us freshly cooked pide bread with our delicious appetizers (humus, muhammara & babaganuj). The meals were perfectly cooked & tasty. We will certainly come again!
