Its name reminiscent of the desert, Le Mirage is a charming Mediterranean restaurant located in the heart of downtown Montreal. The warm décor in Oriental colours, and the menu featuring traditional dishes such as fattoush salad, tabbouleh and grilled meats, makes this the perfect place to get together as a group and share a meal. Early risers will be pleased as you can also enjoy their brunches every day of the week from 8am.
Overall, diners describe Mirage Restaurant as a cozy, welcoming spot with a rich Middle Eastern ambiance and an attractive, ornate interior. The food is repeatedly praised for bold flavors, generous portions, and variety, with standout grills and kebabs, Mansaf, kafta, and Lebanese specialties complemented by silky hummus, tangy labneh, fattoush and other mezze; the desserts and Moroccan tea are noted as pleasant finishes. Service is frequently highlighted as professional, attentive, and friendly, contributing to a warm, homey feel, though a few visits report slower lunch service or occasional missteps with timing or bread quality. The atmosphere is described as comfortable and charming, suitable for family dinners, celebrations, or casual meals, with many recalling a memorable, immersive experience and some evenings busier than others, so reservations are advised. Price appears to be a mixed bag depending on the night and dish, with many reviewers calling portions fair or generous for the quality and location, while a few feel the price tag can be high for Montreal and note occasional value concerns. Overall, Mirage Restaurant is seen as a strong option for authentic, flavorful Mediterranean cuisine, with a focus on warm hospitality and a distinctive, elegant setting that makes it easier to return for future gatherings.
Our recent visit to Mirage restaurant was truly delightful. The Mediterranean cuisine was scrumptious, with the tasty fillet steak sandwich. The portions were quite generous & ambiance added to the overall positive experience.
Omg this place is amazing, might be the best Mediterranean restaurant i’ve ever been to & I don’t say that lightly. The flavors are insane & every dish was delicious. & people are so nice! Will 100% be returning for my next Montréal trip.
Le service est bon il y a une belle ambiance,Les plats ont une excellente saveur, cependant, nous avons remarqué que les portions étaient un peu petites. Nous avons payé 120$ pour un plat, mais nous avons trouvé qu'il y avait moins de viande que prévu
Loved the experience, food atmosphere Service From the owner to the staff They all were beyond amazing glad I visited mirage restaurant before I headed back to Toronto, can't wait to go back again. Ahlam :)
i am giving 3 starts for the beautiful decor . I would say the meat was delicious but the platters came with no salad or the authentic potatoes.
They gave us fries that we can buy from grocery store & fry it at home .
We came for a traditional Turkish
These people depend on mis-advertising,, their menu which shown here is completely different from the actual one
I went their two days later & there was big difference in the price,, for example 1KG of mix grill in that menu is 42,,, when u go their u will find it 75!!!
Even when we told them about this bad way ,, they didn't even apologize for that
Really don't recommend these types of restaurants
