Its name reminiscent of the desert, Le Mirage is a charming Mediterranean restaurant located in the heart of downtown Montreal. The warm décor in Oriental colours, and the menu featuring traditional dishes such as fattoush salad, tabbouleh and grilled meats, makes this the perfect place to get together as a group and share a meal. Early risers will be pleased as you can also enjoy their brunches every day of the week from 8am.
Overall, diners describe Mirage Restaurant as a cozy, welcoming spot with a rich Middle Eastern ambiance and an attractive, ornate interior. The food is repeatedly praised for bold flavors, generous portions, and variety, with standout grills and kebabs, Mansaf, kafta, and Lebanese specialties complemented by silky hummus, tangy labneh, fattoush and other mezze; the desserts and Moroccan tea are noted as pleasant finishes. Service is frequently highlighted as professional, attentive, and friendly, contributing to a warm, homey feel, though a few visits report slower lunch service or occasional missteps with timing or bread quality. The atmosphere is described as comfortable and charming, suitable for family dinners, celebrations, or casual meals, with many recalling a memorable, immersive experience and some evenings busier than others, so reservations are advised. Price appears to be a mixed bag depending on the night and dish, with many reviewers calling portions fair or generous for the quality and location, while a few feel the price tag can be high for Montreal and note occasional value concerns. Overall, Mirage Restaurant is seen as a strong option for authentic, flavorful Mediterranean cuisine, with a focus on warm hospitality and a distinctive, elegant setting that makes it easier to return for future gatherings.
Outstanding experience at this Middle Eastern restaurant in Montreal! The management team ensured a warm welcome, & the food was incredibly fresh & delicious. Highly recommended-we'll definitely be returning soon
It's like we traveled to middle east without taking a plane 🥰. Abdallah knows how to give a personalized customer experience, & he gives so much attention to little details. I would love to give 10 ⭐️ rating if I can. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience & we felt like we are VIP. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Tried this place for the first time in Montreal.. Good delicious food 💯 halal.. Ambience was alright., but quick service. Friendly people.👍🏼 The food we ordered was: A Mirage mix platter, hummus & pita bread, chicken shawarma (this was upto our expectations.. have had better shawarmas in Toronto, a burger (which was alreight), falafel..!
The kebabs were good but the rice was dry & cold. There was hummus on the side, but that doesn't do much to help the dryness of the rice. My partners meal had gravy, so his was better, but I wouldn't recommend the white rice on its own.

Me & my father came here for dinner. I cannot express how nice the service was. We were served by Haraj I believe, & she kindly gave us tea on the house & insisted we leave no tip since it was our first time! She was so sweet, the service was excellent :D. The food was also superr yummy, paired well with the tea, & the atmosphere really sealed the deal. Thank you & well definitely be back when my dads in town again!

Ordered Falafel, hummus & cheese sticks. My friends ordered Chicken dishes. Honestly Falafel was very dry & was not that tasty. Hummus was also not very tasty honestly, it was bland. The atmosphere & ambience was perfect, the service was really good too but the food was not that great. They also did not have a Falafel plate or platter that generally a Mediterranean restaurant has. For vegetarians there were no complete meal item on the menu.
Good spot for some Persian food. It's located downtown so it's convenient for those around. However, parking can be a challenge. The restaurant is neatly set up with a couple of the corners traditionally decorated. We tried a couple of the kebab dishes (kebab halabi & kebab khashkhash) & enjoyed them both. The fries were crispy & the rice was perfect. The prices are reasonable given the quantity & the location. The service was not as attentive as one would hope but all in all a solid dining experience.
This past weekend, my friends & I gathered to celebrate our dear friend's upcoming wedding with a bachelorette party. The venue was beautifully decorated & exuded a sense of joy & excitement. The staff were incredibly friendly & accommodating, making us feel welcomed . The food was very delicious & the chicken was very tender. Their attention to detail & dedication to ensuring we had a great time did not go unnoticed.I also want to extend a special thank you to Huseyin for his outstanding service throughout the evening.
