Its name reminiscent of the desert, Le Mirage is a charming Mediterranean restaurant located in the heart of downtown Montreal. The warm décor in Oriental colours, and the menu featuring traditional dishes such as fattoush salad, tabbouleh and grilled meats, makes this the perfect place to get together as a group and share a meal. Early risers will be pleased as you can also enjoy their brunches every day of the week from 8am.
Overall, diners describe Mirage Restaurant as a cozy, welcoming spot with a rich Middle Eastern ambiance and an attractive, ornate interior. The food is repeatedly praised for bold flavors, generous portions, and variety, with standout grills and kebabs, Mansaf, kafta, and Lebanese specialties complemented by silky hummus, tangy labneh, fattoush and other mezze; the desserts and Moroccan tea are noted as pleasant finishes. Service is frequently highlighted as professional, attentive, and friendly, contributing to a warm, homey feel, though a few visits report slower lunch service or occasional missteps with timing or bread quality. The atmosphere is described as comfortable and charming, suitable for family dinners, celebrations, or casual meals, with many recalling a memorable, immersive experience and some evenings busier than others, so reservations are advised. Price appears to be a mixed bag depending on the night and dish, with many reviewers calling portions fair or generous for the quality and location, while a few feel the price tag can be high for Montreal and note occasional value concerns. Overall, Mirage Restaurant is seen as a strong option for authentic, flavorful Mediterranean cuisine, with a focus on warm hospitality and a distinctive, elegant setting that makes it easier to return for future gatherings.
Such a beautiful Moroccan restaurant in downtown Montreal! I almost fell back to Marrakesh where my partner & I visited in 2020. The food was delicious & authentic. The atmosphere was lovely.

The ambiance is really nice, the music & the atmosphere. Ordering is done on a tablet with a lots of menu options. However most of the plates i had chosen were sold out which was very annoying & should have been written on the menu. The food took ages to arrive even the appetisers around 30 min which was surprising given the restaurent was not full of people. After eating my friends decided to order some desserts. We asked for the menu to which the waiter replied that the kitchen was already closed. It was one hour before closing. The waiter did not let us know that the kitchen was closing & if we wanted to order more. The food is alright great variety but a lot of things were sold out!
The food was amazingly delicious, the service was excellent, staff were so helpful & friendly, the environment was so unique & beautiful, I would highly recommend you to try this place.
Went for dinner tonight, design inside & atmosphere was just so nice & cozy, food was even better, we had the muhammara & a bunch of other appetizers & they were all so heavenly, we also had the mix grill & oh my the meat was so tender & delicious! I also come from the Middle East so for this type of cuisine to impress me was tough! Staff was also super nice & welcoming ☺️ thank you thank you thank you!
# Ramadan Iftar Meal Experience For the Ramadan iftar meal, I ordered the Kafta Belsineya, which came with a selection of sides including dates, soup (which was unfortunately not served), spring rolls stuffed with cheese, Katayef with Nutella, & a Fattouch salad. *Kafta Belsineya* The Kafta Belsineya, a traditional Syrian dish, was below average & did not match the picture. It had an abundance of spices, which overpowered the dish. *Fattouch Salad* The Fattouch salad was also below average. The vegetables appeared & tasted old, lacking the freshness one would expect from this vibrant, flavorful dish. *Cheese Rolls & Katayef* On a more positive note, the cheese rolls & the Katayef with Nutella were delicious. These items were the highlights of the meal. *Compensation for Missed Soup* When I complained that the soup was not served, the restaurant compensated by providing additional Katayef with Nutella & tea, which was a thoughtful gesture. *Overall Impression* While the meal had some disappointing elements, the restaurant's willingness to make amends for the missed soup & the enjoyment of the cheese rolls & Katayef suggest that this establishment may be worth another visit, with the hope that the quality & consistency of the dishes can be improved.
Très bonne expérience nous sommes venues à 2 pour l'iftar la nourriture était délicieuse avec des portions généreuses. Un grand merci à Aya qui c'est occupé de nous, un service au top grâce à elle !
Excellent dine in & catering experience. The food is incredible & they have a variety of authentic Arabic dishes to choose from. Mirage is my go-to for catering for events & holidays such as Christmas & Easter, & the owner Abdallah is very pleasant to talk to & always puts in extra care for the order. Highly recommend for catering or dine in if you're craving authentic Arabic food. Impeccable food & service, nothing else to say. A+++++++
Exquis! On était 25 convives, on a été reçu comme des rois! C'était ma première fois & j'y retournerai c'est garanti! Le service était excellent! Magnifique restaurant palestinien, la décoration & la vaisselle est typique du pays représenté. L'accueil était chaleureux.
