I was in the mood for a delicious dosa this morning; so I decided to stop by Mini Punjab to satisfy the craving. I ordered the plain dosa; which came served with chutneys & some sambar. The dosa itself was great, & the pricing felt entirely fair & reasonable.
The sides were a bit of a mixed bag, however. The sambar was okay; but the chutneys left something to be desired. The mint chutney was alright; but I really missed having a classic coconut chutney to go with it. Beyond that, their South Indian menu options feel a bit limited overall. They did not have additions like ghee or podi; & idlis were surprisingly not available before noon. As a huge fan of ghee; I really wish they would offer it as an add-on option on their regular menu.
That being said; the visit was still very pleasant. The lady who served me was nice, polite, & welcoming throughout but did seem to speak French or even English very well. It is a good local spot with good potential; & I will definitely be back to sample some of their North Indian specialties!

Excellent food & service 🙌🏻!!!
We had the butter chicken combo for the kids, along with shrimp korma, lamb vindaloo, aloo gobi, & chicken tikka masala for the table-& everything was fresh, flavorful, & perfectly cooked. Also, the naan's were super fresh !
We asked for very mild dishes for the kids & spicy for the rest, & the chef balanced the flavors perfectly. It really feels like they genuinely care about their customers & pay attention to every detail.
The waitress is always so friendly every time we visit, which makes the experience even better. Highly recommend!
Stinky & expensive. Boiled canned chickpea dumped in masala plus three Naan cost 24$. Forget about dirty & oily environment.
DELICOUS & FRESH
Absolutely love
Will return

It was my 2nd visit. 10/10 recommend !! Give them atleast a try for their good food & as well as good service!
Hands down the best food we ate in Canada. The food was amazing, with great quality & good portions. The host & chef were incredibly kind & welcoming, which made the experience even better.
We had the chicken thali, veg thali, chai, & chole bhature, & every single dish was chef's kiss. No gimmicks, no unnecessary fancy presentation, just honest, delicious, home style food. It truly tasted like a home cooked meal.
& I have to mention the zucchini sabzi. I never thought I would say this, but it was the biggest surprise & easily the star of the meal. We can't wait to come back!
My only choice in Montreal 😎, especially because of quality & freshness of food. I would highly recommend pyaaz paratha, salted lassi, Mango shake, shahi panner, saraso de saag maake di roti, chole bhature. Also, I would highlight about nice customer service 😊.

Good service, staff is friendly. Food was fantastic (especially the lamb saag)! Prices are very reasonable.
