I'm a mcgill student & often study late at night. This cafe is my go-to when im on campus because of the great hours & proximity to school. Their coffee is great, (especially the iced latte) & the interior is super comfy with lots of charging outlets.
Recently i've been there they actually changed the management & the name of the café, but unfortunately it's not updated on Google so last time when we've been there, they closed at 11 PM while on Google. It says that it's open 24 hours. But the manager, he's a really nice person & I love their hot chocolate which is with real chocolate & it's so rich & creamy.
While the food looked great & our server was very friendly, unfortunately the French toast I ordered was barely edible. It was only lightly battered on both sides (not properly soaked) which meant the insides were just dry bread. It took a lot of effort to cut through as the bread was very tough. The kitchen was kind enough to remake the plate for me but alas the second serving was the same - tough & inedible bread. Additionally, they don't have a lot of pork (ham, bacon, sausages) substitute - when we asked the only thing the kitchen could offer was smoked salmon which was a letdown. The cafe interior is bright & pleasant so it's a shame these two aspects of the food were disappointing. I didn't end up eating most of my French toast & still had to pay for my meal. However, the wedges were nicely seasoned.
Always nice to still have at least one nice spot in Montreal still open 24 hours as a nice cafe to do some necessary work that has to be done overnight.
First time, it was a great experience. My old friend recommended & invited me to meet & eat. Patio was cool. Food was delicious. 2nd time -- not quite great. Perhaps, it was the late hour ( 11pm ) when I arrived to eat. Unfortunately, only the cafe was open & cold sandwiches were served. Extremely slow order processing that made standing customers annoyed. It said open 24hrs but no menu & no waiters. Abit disappointed. They should add a sign to not confuse people if it's "coffee only" after service after certain hours.
Although the cafe has been a neighbourhood staple for many years, the restaurant portion is new & definitely worth a try :) Hannah was the sweetest server, & very kindly practiced French with us. The breakfast was very good, especially the extra crispy home fries. We will be back soon!
Good place, it's a fun place to go. Food is not that delicious, cafe are good, stuff are quiet friendly & fast WiFi. It is so noisy here but I love the place overall.
At first we thought that the place was just for students, since there were a lot of them there, but in fact it was a pretty decent establishment, we went for breakfast, classic pancakes, so tasty, lemonade of course unfortunately one chemical, I would like fresh ingredients, but overall it was good. It was cool inside, at 32 it was autumn by the way. The cafe is multi-sided, breakfasts, lunches, sandwiches, ice cream, bubble tea, the whole set
