I went to this cocktail bar on a Sunday night for a date, & it was absolutely perfect. The ambiance was incredible-low key & relaxed, exactly what we were looking for. The drinks were fantastic, & the prices were surprisingly affordable for such quality. Our waitress was super kind & attentive, making the experience even better. If you're looking for a chill spot with great drinks & excellent service, I highly recommend this place! Perfect for a casual night out or a special occasion.View more

Great cocktail bar near Lachine with a cozy vibe & a beautiful glass roof. The prices are reasonable, & happy hour from 5 to 7 offers a great deal on cocktails. I loved the strawberry Aperol spritz, but the watermelon mojito was too sweet & lacked flavor. Overall, a nice spot for drinks!View more

Love this place! Came for drinks on a Thursday night. There was a short wait but saw a couple leave the bar so asked to sit there because I preferred that over table service. About an hour later there was an even longer wait with a line which shows how popular it is there. The drink I had was really good! Good bar service & attentive. Fun & relaxed vibes in a unique ambiance. Definitely want to go back! A must see!View more

We just had the best time at Milkyway Cocktail bar. I had been wanting to go to this bar for years, so when my sister's bf was looking for a spot to propose to my sister, I knew this was it. I messaged them ahead of time & they were so accommodating. When we arrived, Alex was a peach. His service was just attentive enough & we felt well taken care of. The bar flooded because of the rainstorm, HOWEVER, the staff made sure to take great care of us until the final sip of our drinks. This was the perfect venue for my sister's proposal, the service was awesome (s/o Alex), the drinks were exceptional & the Killa Bees pizza was *chef's kiss*. All the awards are well deserved & I can't wait to recommend this bar to anyone I know who visits Montreal :)View more

Great Ambiance & Staff, good but expensive drinks. Cocktails are fun & taste good, but they are made of 80% ice & 15% juice & 5% alcohol, which gives You around 5-6 sips in a 20$ drink. Go there for the ambiance & leave before you buy too much drink if your expectations is to be even a little bit tipsy, which wasn't the case for me after spending more than 80$ on myselfView more

Damn! I enjoy discovering new establishments & this one really made me smile. It was a fun discovery for sure! It's in the small side & it will fill up quick which means a lineup. The ambiance & decor is awesome! I went there during the day so I didn't experience the night time lighting. The drink menu is never ending. I never did try the food which I hope to on my next visit. Hands down one of the best bars I've ever been to. Nothing can be criticised here it was perfection. The cocktails are awesome & pizzas are top quality. I was fortunate enough to be served by Lola who is an extremely skilful & knowledgeable bartender, plus she was very welcoming & friendly. We finally got around to visiting the renowned bar. Arriving at opening was barely early enough to sit as a throng of people soon filled in under the beautiful skylight. A great blend of modern & classic music establishes an impeccable ambiance. We had to order the most ridiculous drink on the menu (couldn't help myself) & paired it with some superb pizza from the the affiliated downstairs pizzeria @fugazzipizza. (For some reason there's different music playing in the bathroom & we found that extremely entertaining)View more

Milky Way Cocktail Bar was phenomenal!!! It was a little hard to find on the street, but luckily the employees at the Pizza Place next door were more than willing to direct us. The atmosphere is great. The music is not too loud & I did not feel squished into my seat by other patrons. Service was phenomenal. I didn't catch the servers name but he was friendly & kind. Two other patrons in the bar even switched their seats to accommodate for my larger party. I had three drinks there: The Marcus Hibiscus, the Disco Pisco, & the Yec'hed Mat. My favorite of those was the Disco Pisco, but another in my party had the Island in the Sun, which we unanimously agreed was the best on the menu. I would say the cocktails listed on the menu could fit the needs of almost anyone's palate, & only a few drinks overlapped greatly in flavor. Some of the drinks I found to be a bit too eccentric for my taste (particularly the A La Luz), but I was clearly able to find several I liked, & there were also several crowd pleasers. Food was offered from the Pizza Place below, which was convenient, affordable, & tasty. Overall, a fantastic bar with interesting flavors & combinations. The staff obviously love their jobs, as that shows through both the service & the booze.View more
