We opened our first cafe in 2013 with the mission of offering specialty coffee in a warm and inclusive environment.
During our expansion, we quickly understood that as a company, our central commitment was to our employees. It is with them and thanks to them that everything else is possible.
Overall, MELK Café is described as a cozy, small spot with excellent coffee, standout matcha and scones, and friendly, fast service that makes it a good place to work or study, though seating is limited and the space can feel crowded during peak times. The menu and drinks get high marks, pastries are often praised, and prices are generally considered reasonable, with some notes about the occasional pastry being a bit sweet or the espresso not having depth. A few reviews mention moments of inconsistent service or a busy, noisy atmosphere, and one highlights a tip prompt at payment, but the overall vibe is warm and the quality of drinks and snacks keeps people returning.
the best scone I've ever tried specially the lemon cherry one, the cortado also was well done & has a strong taste. I loved it so much & planing to come back definitely
One of the servers this morning was rude to me. He didn't want to serve me for any reasons & kept washing dishes. The barista who were supposed to do the coffees only, saw the situation & came himself to take the order. The rude server then shout at me'receipt'? Who does that & what was his problem?? The Latte I took was terrible. Only milk & I couldn't feel a drop of coffee.
Very good coffee generally & a great reputation. The chocolate wasn't mixed well in my mocha leaving a bunch of half-melted chocolate at the bottom so a little disappointed there. Will come back to try again though
A cozy spot for an afternoon coffee or matcha. The staff are very nice & remembers my preferences. It can get super busy in the morning of work days. I would probably not come during that time, because the line can get quite long & the wait time as well. Their cookies are also quite tasty. They pair well with their Latte, but maybe a bit too sweet when eaten by themselves.
