Mixed feelings about this place.
The location is excellent. A beautiful terrace. The owner is super super a lovely smile is always on his face which is rare to see here.
However, it's not the burger you normally eat. I feel the patties are spiced with more than salt & paper which makes it in flavour closer to eating kafta or kababs.
The bun is homemade which is great but I find it a bit theck.
We ordered a burger that was supposed to be spicy but I didn't find it spicy at all.
& last but not the least it's expensive. 24$ for a plate with one patty, burgul & cabbage & a little amount of salad is too much.

I would give service 5 stars but we waited a bit longer than is typical for a burger. However.. the wait is more than worth it. The wait is essential...because what you get is just superb. I had the Tijuana Burger...& not only was it delicious, it also packs a spicy wallop. & homemade brioche buns that are not too sugary. & awesome poutine too! I had an impromptu early dinner with my uncle & also happened to be my birthday. I wanted a place where my dogs can also be accommodated. Mekan & Beyond was the best choice! We enjoyed every bite of our Mekan burger. Pretty obvious that it wasn’t just a normal burger put in commercialized buns because the flavours of the burger was extraordinary! Perfectly & deliciously homemade plus the best buns I have ever tasted too! We upgraded to Shakshuka instead of fries & we simply loved it! The highlight? I had the best cake - Mango Tiramisu! & yes…. excellent service on top of it all!Voir plus
