We ordered the custom cake for my son's birthday party. The chocolate cake was tasty! However, we did order a'personalized' cake with example images & called magateaux a couple of times to ensure everything was doable. The staff mentioned there was no problem to deliver the fire truck theme birthday cake for our son. Unfortunately we found out it was a chocolate cake with paper decorations on top. This is frankly not what we had expected after seeing beautifully personalized cakes on the business' instagram page. We love supporting local businesses but the level of personalization & price in our case was unfortunately hard to justify.

Great experience. I had a cortado & a chocolate chip cookie, both were delicious. Staff are welcoming & friendly, I will definitely visit Megateaux again!

Every time I visit, the cupcakes & cakes are incredibly fresh & flavorful - especially their colorful & chocolate cupcakes, which are just as delightful to look at as they are to eat. 😋

I liked the concept & the taste, I recommend to try it once!

Pros:
-Fun & original concept (create your own individual cake).
-The homemade hazelnut praline paste is delicious & crunchy. I bought a container to take home (I just wish it was a little cheaper).
-The cake is not too sweet so you can add the filling without worry.
-Not too expensive for what it is (around $8 for an individual cake).

Others:
-I recommend using the vanilla cake rather than the chocolate cake because you will add cream & filling.

Called in for a last minute request. Staff was helpful & accommodating, but more importantly the chocolate cake for my daughter's birthday was delicious. Love that I was able to support locally too! Excited for our next bday gathering, so I can try something else.

Atelier décoration de gâteaux : love it , it was fun I learned a lot the teacher /owner was very patient professional & kind. The result in my eyes was superb. I would definitely recommend. I will be back for the atelier cupcake. I tasted the vanilla cake on site & it was really good. I brought back home the chocolate cake & it was a success in my household. Perfect taste, & texture. Not too sweet not too heavy just perfection.

The taste is just not quite there. Chocolate & vanilla cakes taste the same. Icings are not very flavourful either & toppings are right at the front to the food bar not covered ( not very sanitary) Very nice people won't be going back for sure!
