We couldn't be happier with the cake for my sister's 40th birthday! It was absolutely stunning & exceeded all of our expectations. Every detail was beautifully done, & it was clear how much care & talent went into creating it.
Not only was the cake a showstopper, but it tasted just as incredible as it looked. Our guests couldn't stop talking about it! Thank you for helping make such a special milestone celebration even more memorable.
We highly recommend your bakery & will definitely be back for future celebrations!

The cakes here are delicious: flavorful without being overly sweet, & they don't even leave you feeling thirsty. The Too Good To Go bags are also prepared with the same care & attention.

I go to Megateux every week & recommend it to everyone. The team is absolutely lovely

Really disappointed with how dry the cake was given the reviews. I wanted to love this place & was excited to finally try it. The whole experience was subpar, & I made sure to communicate my insatisfaction to the owner who didn't seem to really care. I wouldn't recommend.
Go to Bernice or Lecavalier Petrone if you would like great cake with great service!

Didn't want to get into the specific details but editing my review because it seems like this owner always has to refute negative reviews without ever actually addressing the source of the issue or taking accountability. I've actually never had to deal such poor customer service.
First of all, I overheard my husband asking for a cake for 2-4 people & being forced to upgrade to a bigger cake. The person over the phone said that only the 6 person cake was available. I made him call back because I noticed online that I could place a 4 person cake for pick up. That's only when they agreed to switch it to a 4 person cake. Maybe it is you who has communication issues with your employee who clearly isn't telling the truth? I would've cancelled the order right then & there for being manipulative & getting him to buy a bigger cake. My husband on the other hand, was just trying to get me a cake as I was looking forward to ordering from there. & he's not one to start arguing with ladies in a store about a cake.
Then when we got the cake, had it been good, I would've looked past this nonsense. But it was terrible so I reached out to you, to which you never addressed. I mentioned twice, that the main issue was that it was dry & it was a disappointment & now you're trying to tell me it's my fault & some storage BS? You sincerely deserve 0 star because even after reaching out to you, you clearly lack accountability. I communicate directly with business owners when I have an issue & you're only getting this review because you like to blame the customer instead of apologizing & taking accountability for a dry cake & poor customer service.

Update again because clearly they don't understand English. I never said you didn't respond to an email, I said you didn't address the main issue for reaching out which was to advise you that the cake was terribly dry & it was a disappointing experience. You never responded to this, in fact you never responded to this matter until you replied in your review to tell me it wasn't stored properly & that it was my fault? I have the emails & would be happy to publicly share them.
Secondly, you admitted that your employee did not know about the tax exemption but was trying to up-sale my husband without even stating that fact. Because clearly, why would he change the cake size had he known he was going to only save 3$?

You are just completely in the wrong, & clearly do not know how to apologize. This is poor customer service & you need a 101 on how to handle customers properly.

So I just tried this bakery for the first time & I was more than disappointed 😞 the cupcakes were extremely dry the brownie didn't taste fresh the cake in cup was the size of a yogurt cup which cost 9,$ & didn't even taste good. I threw most of it away. Very disappointed

Very welcoming bakery with a variety of delicious treats & a friendly staff. I had the lemon & white-chocolate chip cookie & it was divine! Will be returning to try out their cake bar, & eventually try one of their workshops!

I'm very sad, i ordered a chocolate gourmand cake for my husband birthday for april 11th & i noticed when i opened the box i was missing the Kinder Bueno. Plus the cake seemed a little dry. For 50$ i was expecting better.

We ordered the custom cake for my son's birthday party. The chocolate cake was tasty! However, we did order a'personalized' cake with example images & called magateaux a couple of times to ensure everything was doable. The staff mentioned there was no problem to deliver the fire truck theme birthday cake for our son. Unfortunately we found out it was a chocolate cake with paper decorations on top. This is frankly not what we had expected after seeing beautifully personalized cakes on the business' instagram page. We love supporting local businesses but the level of personalization & price in our case was unfortunately hard to justify.
