We ordered the custom cake for my son's birthday party. The chocolate cake was tasty! However, we did order a'personalized' cake with example images & called magateaux a couple of times to ensure everything was doable. The staff mentioned there was no problem to deliver the fire truck theme birthday cake for our son. Unfortunately we found out it was a chocolate cake with paper decorations on top. This is frankly not what we had expected after seeing beautifully personalized cakes on the business' instagram page. We love supporting local businesses but the level of personalization & price in our case was unfortunately hard to justify.
I did the order later in the week for the weekend & they took very friendly my order! & the cakes was amazing, everybody loved the flavor! I'm happy I bought for sure I will order again! Thank youuuu!!!
First off, I very rarely write reviews so this is meaningful. I accidentally ordered a birthday cake for my partner for the day after his birthday (tired Mom!). I called today on the morning of his birthday explaining my blunder & wondering if they could help. They fixed my problem & made a beautiful carrot cake by 4pm! It was SO delicious. I am amazed with the high quality of the cake & the kind service. Thank you so much! Highly recommend this bakery! A gem in Verdun. ❤?
Megâteaux is such a fun & creative dessert concept - a full DIY cake bar right in Verdun! You get to build your own layered cake by choosing your base, frosting, & toppings. I went with the vanilla cake & crunchy praline, & it was seriously incredible - perfectly balanced & full of texture.
Everything is fresh, beautifully presented, & it's such a playful experience. No reservations required, just drop in & build your dream dessert. I'll definitely be back!

We opened the cake box & we screamed for 5 mins! Soooo cute & exactly what we wanted. The owner is the sweetest, communication is simple & quick, & the cake was delicious. Definitely recommended & my new fav for all my cakes
Very easy to order from them & very straightforward. I ordered a week before & they were able to squeeze me in for a birthday cake. I got this small cake with raspberry & passion fruit filling & honestly flavour wise 10/10!! I also love their concept of choose your own mini cake in store & choose your toppings.
The staff here are incredibly kind & welcoming! The cake bar is absolutely delicious, with so many flavors to choose from. One of my friends had a nosebleed while we were there, & the staff went out of their way to help us. Their kindness & attentiveness really stood out. Amazing place with amazing people!

-Fun & original concept (create your own individual cake).
-The homemade hazelnut praline paste is delicious & crunchy. I bought a container to take home (I just wish it was a little cheaper).
-The cake is not too sweet so you can add the filling without worry.
-Not too expensive for what it is (around $8 for an individual cake).
Others:
-I recommend using the vanilla cake rather than the chocolate cake because you will add cream & filling.
Its a cute place! The cakes were quite good & we were able to taste test the icing as well. I think the icing could have been a bit better but overall satisfied with the purchase!

Called in for a last minute request. Staff was helpful & accommodating, but more importantly the chocolate cake for my daughter's birthday was delicious. Love that I was able to support locally too! Excited for our next bday gathering, so I can try something else.
Tristement le marbré acheté ce matin à 11h, est moisi sur certaines parties (voir photo) & très sec. Mais le petit cake du bar à gâteau était très bon, mais c'est une déception de vendre des choses avec des début de moisissures. Je pense que le concept est très bon, & malgré cette déception j'aime l'originalité de la construction de gâteau personnalisé !
The best!!! The cakes are super moist & sooooo pretty. The little portion of cake in a cup is perfect for a kid portion. The owner was there, she's absolutely lovely & welcoming. Will order all my birthday cakes from there for the foreseeable future!! Congrats on a great new place!
Absolutely delicious little cupcake! I picked the carrot cake & vanilla cake with cream cheese frosting & raspberries. Absolutely delicious - you can really taste the quality of all the components. Yum!!!
