Meet Fresh propose des desserts taïwanais variés et généreux, et les avis divergent sur les taro balls: certains les trouvent délicieux et bien texturés, d autres les jugent fades; tout le menu semble frais et authentique, avec une ambiance calme et conviviale qui convient pour des moments en famille ou entre amis, et un service souvent apprécié pour sa gentillesse et ses gestes comme lorsque le personnel a chanté un anniversaire; les portions sont énormes et idéales à partager, ce qui en fait une adresse pratique pour les groupes, et les bingsu et les toppings à base de tapioca et de gelée reçoivent majoritairement des éloges pour leur goût et leur présentation; quelques points négatifs reviennent toutefois: la glace n est pas toujours shaved ice et peut paraître concassée, les prix sont parfois jugés élevés, le rapport fruits/garnitures manque parfois, et les temps d attente peuvent être longs; globalement Meet Fresh ressort comme une option agréable pour des desserts frais et des boissons, à partager et à tester en soirée, avec une ambiance plaisante et un service chaleureux, mais l expérience peut varier selon les plats et les jours.
Un dessert exquis. C'était très rafraîchissant. J'ai tellement aimé la glace pilée à la fraise ! Les morceaux de litchi, & la crème glacée vanille se mélangeaient très bien au goût des fraises. J'ai envie de revenir tous les jours !!
I haven't had Meetfresh in many years, & my last time was as a kid in China, where it was super popular & my parents always took me for their tasty desserts.
I ordered the taro ball max because the picture showed a huge portion with all my favorite toppings. But when I got it, I was a little shocked: the whole bowl was basically shaved ice, with only a small amount of toppings in the corners. It didn't look like the photo at all, & I think I expected too much lol (oops). The sweet shaved ice plus boba was just way too sweet for me. (It's my personal opinion, however, if you are a big fan of crumbl then this dessert bowl is not too sweet at all!)
I did like how chewy the taro balls were. But if you don't love shaved ice, you might want to pick something else because this one was so icy it felt like eating a popsicle, haha.
I appreciated that they list the calories for each bowl, which is helpful if you're watching your daily intake. The service was amazing, & the store has a really nice aesthetic. I'll definitely come back to try other items!!!!!

Absolutely loved my visit to Meet Fresh! I ordered Taro Ball #3, & it was really delicious-perfectly chewy taro balls, great texture, & just the right level of sweetness. Everything tasted fresh & authentic, & it was super satisfying without being too heavy. A fantastic spot for Taiwanese desserts.
The store itself was quiet & clean, with people working or studying, which created a calm & comfortable vibe. It has a nice ambiance to enjoy your food with your family or friends. Everything felt fresh & welcoming. Definitely a place I'd come back to again!
Ordered the Avocado Milk Shaved Ice. The wait was long despite there being very few customers & the presentation was not great… spoons were also visibly dirty & sticky! Toppings did not have much taste but the overall dessert was good.
Note, the milk shaved ice is actually just shaved ice (not bingsu style). The ice was very chunky.
Overall, disappointed with my experience here & would not come back.

We wee 4 to visit & we were amazed at the selection of shaved ice & boba they have! These desserts are great for sharing & they're open late daily. My go-to shaved ice in town!
I really enjoyed the flavours of their drinks & their grass jelly specialty dessert. It was just the right level of sweetness. However, I feel like the tapioca was a bit too chewy for my liking. Additionally, the price is a bit too expensive in my opinion. The bowl was around 15$ which is expensive to me because it only had chewy chunks that seemed like tapioca & grass jelly. I was expecting at least some fruits but it was missing a bit in my opinion. As for the bubble tea, I feel like 9$ is an acceptable price but it was a pretty basic drink though. It was a decent size & I did really like the flavours of the tapioca but once again, it was a bit too chewy in my opinion.
Hot desserts have always been my favorites & this place offered a wide variety of them. The hot Tofu Pudding (which was lukewarm on my last visit) with taro & red bean was satisfying. The portion was enormous, perfect for sharing.
Got to the store 30 minutes before they closed & they were still busy haha. I ordered the signature grass jelly with taro balls & it was a lot. I was so full. They used to have this brand in Winnipeg but they closed down :( it would be lovely to have this dessert during summer time
Came here so many times, I can ensure you will get desserts what Taiwanese people usually eat. I always get the icy herbal tea with grass jelly & whipped cream. Always good but too bad the sugar level can't be adjusted.
