I haven't had Meetfresh in many years, & my last time was as a kid in China, where it was super popular & my parents always took me for their tasty desserts.
I ordered the taro ball max because the picture showed a huge portion with all my favorite toppings. But when I got it, I was a little shocked: the whole bowl was basically shaved ice, with only a small amount of toppings in the corners. It didn't look like the photo at all, & I think I expected too much lol (oops). The sweet shaved ice plus boba was just way too sweet for me. (It's my personal opinion, however, if you are a big fan of crumbl then this dessert bowl is not too sweet at all!)
I did like how chewy the taro balls were. But if you don't love shaved ice, you might want to pick something else because this one was so icy it felt like eating a popsicle, haha.
I appreciated that they list the calories for each bowl, which is helpful if you're watching your daily intake. The service was amazing, & the store has a really nice aesthetic. I'll definitely come back to try other items!!!!!
We ordered the Gemini milk shaved ice. The taste is ok, it's sweet but not too sweet. We would have loved if they put more mangos & strawberries since the filling ends quickly & we were only eating ice once the fruits were over. We would have loved if it was shaved milk instead of just ice. It was about 17$ & we were 3 people & it's really filling for all of us. I wouldn't order it again since it was mostly just like eating ice
The'shaved ice' tasted great but it is clearly not shaved ice at all. Its chunk of ice... its more like a'crushed ice' then shaved at all... Pretty dissapointing... i hope they change their ice machine because the taste is great but the ice is horrible... also the wait time is super long...
Ordered the Avocado Milk Shaved Ice. The wait was long despite there being very few customers & the presentation was not great… spoons were also visibly dirty & sticky! Toppings did not have much taste but the overall dessert was good.
Note, the milk shaved ice is actually just shaved ice (not bingsu style). The ice was very chunky.
Overall, disappointed with my experience here & would not come back.
We wee 4 to visit & we were amazed at the selection of shaved ice & boba they have! These desserts are great for sharing & they're open late daily. My go-to shaved ice in town!
The flavors are super bold & delicious - they really don't hold back. The portions are HUGE (seriously, they're not stingy at all!), & it's the perfect place to chill - quiet, relaxed, & easy to have a conversation. The staff is super friendly too, which made the whole experience even better.
Definitely coming back! Love it!!

That mango shaved ice is insanely good. The ice cream ball at the top was ironically the highlight instead of the (still very good) shaved ice which i think is frozen juice/tea/syrup & not just frozen water. Price was a bit expensive, & the mangos were frozen with a very uncomfortable texture. Honestly if I could just order the ice cream at the top, I would.
I was very impressed by the shaved ice with fruits. I don't know if they sell different sizes because this was huge, 4 people ate out of it. I would definitely get it again.
I order a Ube & taro paste signature served on shaved ice. Taro & sweet potato balls are so chewy, very fresh. One scoop of taro & ube are not so sweet. It balance very well the whole taste with grass jelly. Optional milk less than 3 mL can added. For the price, it's a good portion to share for 2-3 persons

huge shaved ice & grass jelly bowl with taro balls - the portions are pretty big & everything's rly good! 2/ their brown sugar shaved ice is very good. love each of the toppings & this was enough for 5 people lol
I'm in love with their cold desserts. Not a big fan of their boba drinks (at least those I've tried). I would recommend their brown sugar milk shaved ice
REALLY RECOMMEND THE SHAVED ICE the portion was insane 5 people could eat that. I don't recommend whats in the 3rd photo no one liked it...the lotus flower is very milky & fruity if you're into that The staff were very friendly

I had a really good visit to this cute little bubble tea & dessert place! They seem to have a huge selection of different types of slush, bubble tea, milk drinks as well as desserts such as shaved ice. I got the Sweet Potato & Taro Ball Milk & loved it! The avocado milk with boba is tasty too! I also tried the Oreo Tornado dessert which I wasn't a huge fan of but that's just personal taste. Their boba & taro balls are some of the better ones I've had. Be prepared to wait 10-15min for your drink though if they have a lot of customers passing through. I'll definitely come back to have more drinks & desserts in this place as they seem to have a large selection! They also have quite a lot of space to sit down & enjoy your time. It's one of the only places in this area where I've found good WiFi, so it's great for if you want to get some studying done too! Good job, Meet Fresh! See you soon!
I finally had the chance to comme here for the first time & im glad to say its definitely not the last! For the price you are paying you get a giant shaved ice with a bunch toppings, the taste is amazing & very unique. Can't wait to go back!
Nice place to hang out with friends after eating at one of the numerous restaurants on Ste Catherine. They have shaved ice, traditionnal soup desserts, bubble tea, ice cream etc. Beware : super sweet.
I think it's really a hit or miss kind of place depending on what you order. The first time we ordered the shaved ice it was awesome, but this time the sesame soup was really bland & the tofu dessert was not silky at all. We chose hot desserts but they were served lukewarm...
