I haven't had Meetfresh in many years, & my last time was as a kid in China, where it was super popular & my parents always took me for their tasty desserts.
I ordered the taro ball max because the picture showed a huge portion with all my favorite toppings. But when I got it, I was a little shocked: the whole bowl was basically shaved ice, with only a small amount of toppings in the corners. It didn't look like the photo at all, & I think I expected too much lol (oops). The sweet shaved ice plus boba was just way too sweet for me. (It's my personal opinion, however, if you are a big fan of crumbl then this dessert bowl is not too sweet at all!)
I did like how chewy the taro balls were. But if you don't love shaved ice, you might want to pick something else because this one was so icy it felt like eating a popsicle, haha.
I appreciated that they list the calories for each bowl, which is helpful if you're watching your daily intake. The service was amazing, & the store has a really nice aesthetic. I'll definitely come back to try other items!!!!!
We had a taro icy ball. I guess it's a difference between cultures & nostalgia, but I really didn't find anything interesting about it. Just bowl of ice (not fine like snow), brown sugar & some starch balls. Really bland.

Absolutely loved my visit to Meet Fresh! I ordered Taro Ball #3, & it was really delicious-perfectly chewy taro balls, great texture, & just the right level of sweetness. Everything tasted fresh & authentic, & it was super satisfying without being too heavy. A fantastic spot for Taiwanese desserts.
The store itself was quiet & clean, with people working or studying, which created a calm & comfortable vibe. It has a nice ambiance to enjoy your food with your family or friends. Everything felt fresh & welcoming. Definitely a place I'd come back to again!
This is huge lol. I didn't expect the size like this. Glacé pillée au lait de cassonade is with pearls, pudding, taro balls, coffee jelly &'mochi-jelly'. Delicious ~

That mango shaved ice is insanely good. The ice cream ball at the top was ironically the highlight instead of the (still very good) shaved ice which i think is frozen juice/tea/syrup & not just frozen water. Price was a bit expensive, & the mangos were frozen with a very uncomfortable texture. Honestly if I could just order the ice cream at the top, I would.

Got to the store 30 minutes before they closed & they were still busy haha. I ordered the signature grass jelly with taro balls & it was a lot. I was so full. They used to have this brand in Winnipeg but they closed down :( it would be lovely to have this dessert during summer time
I order a Ube & taro paste signature served on shaved ice. Taro & sweet potato balls are so chewy, very fresh. One scoop of taro & ube are not so sweet. It balance very well the whole taste with grass jelly. Optional milk less than 3 mL can added. For the price, it's a good portion to share for 2-3 persons

I had a really good visit to this cute little bubble tea & dessert place! They seem to have a huge selection of different types of slush, bubble tea, milk drinks as well as desserts such as shaved ice. I got the Sweet Potato & Taro Ball Milk & loved it! The avocado milk with boba is tasty too! I also tried the Oreo Tornado dessert which I wasn't a huge fan of but that's just personal taste. Their boba & taro balls are some of the better ones I've had. Be prepared to wait 10-15min for your drink though if they have a lot of customers passing through. I'll definitely come back to have more drinks & desserts in this place as they seem to have a large selection! They also have quite a lot of space to sit down & enjoy your time. It's one of the only places in this area where I've found good WiFi, so it's great for if you want to get some studying done too! Good job, Meet Fresh! See you soon!

Clean & spacious store, staff also speaks mandarin. They gave me a small plastic badge that beeps when they're done with my food so I can go to the counter, very cute. I got tofu pudding no.5 with rice balls & red bean, it was good. Also bonus points for cute venti drawing on the tips jar 🥺🥰
