My mother & I came here from the US for my 31st birthday & stumbled upon this great steak house ! Jerome was our server & he was amazing! the mashed potatoes came out a little cold & he accommodated us with a fresh batch with a little extra something on top, an egg yolk! it was delish & if we ever come back to visit canada we will definitely be coming back here. thank you Mechant Boeuf & thank you Jerome!
Ordered a filet mignon medium, was overcooked well done with centre rare, tasteless & bland. Two bites & left the rest, béarnaise sauce was basically melted butter. Staff were very friendly & apologetic. There are better places to eat

Wonderful evening here. Great service at the bar while waiting for our table, well crafted cocktails. Table service was excellent. Filet mignon arrived perfect medium rare. Tender & flavorful. Our server Emma was attentive & very helpful with the menu. Wonderful dinner. Lively atmosphere in a sleek setting. Prices are quite reasonable for the quality of service & food.
Superbe terrasse & services impeccable. Rapport qualité prix de la nourriture en deçà de mes attentes, en particulier l'assaisonnements & cuisson. Bavette, tartare, salade cesar & huîtres commandées.
Atmosphere was amazing. Food took over an hour to table. Service sucked, waitress came to our table 3 times, no drink refills. Gave 15 percent tip & could not have been more rude after.

We celebrated our anniversary here last night. They have valet service which was top notch. The restaurant & waitress were impeccable. The food was cooked to perfection as they have a new chef from London who is quite frankly a culinary specialist!!! The Caesar salad was the best we have ever had ( not garlicky ) & the capers were roasted. The steak was cooked medium to perfection with an exquisite presentation. My wife & I were treated with courtesy & professionalism. This was all thanks to the amazing server Emilie who went above & beyond to make our night memorable. 5 stars all the way. We will be back.

Started our friday night here for my Bachelor party weekend, We order a few appetizers the calamari was perfect as we're the dumpling, the cocktails we had were perfectly made my whiskey sour was made to perfection, for our main we opted for a 47oz porterhouse & a 36oz Kansas for everyone to share, the steak was absolutely amazing cooked to perfection. When it came to the sides & im not one to really comment on sides because most places are good, but when it came to there potato puree it was amazing the flavours the creaminess when mixing in the egg yolk absolutely delicious. As for the staff from the moment we walked in & were seated 5star all the way very knowledgeable about there for menu & drinks wine selection was very good, the attention to detail was spot on, all the staff made sure everyone was enjoying themselves the manager was very hands on walking around & speaking to the customers making sure every customer was happy & that everything was to there liking. Not sure what else I can say from the front of the house to the back it was perfect compliments to the chef aswell as all the staff everyone plays a crucial role to make every customers experience just perfect & you hit it spot on, My wedding is June 15th 2024, & next year on June 15th 2025 we will be definitely traveling from ottawa to enjoy a dinner & drinks for our first anniversary. & with how perfect everything is I hope to continue that tradition for years to come on our anniversary.
