The food is fine if you ignore the price, but it is really not good enough for what they charge. The fries are really basic, you can get better for 4$ at a fast food place. The ribs were tender, but a little too much if you ask me & they lacked any BBQ qualities other than a slight char on the sauce. The sauce was acceptable but nothing to write home about. If it was cheap I'd give it a pass, but at that price I expected better.

We had an amazing evening in a setting. The meat was absolutely delicious - incredibly tender & cooked to perfection (special mention to the Bavette, truly outstanding!).
Service was flawless, & we'd like to give a special shoutout to Emma, who was incredibly kind, attentive, & professional throughout our meal. Her warm & genuine approach truly elevated our experience.
Highly recommend this place for both the food quality & the exceptional service. Thank you we'll definitely be back!

Amateur de viande, j'ai été absolument conquis par ce restaurant. Le boeuf est d'une qualité remarquable, tendre, juteux & parfaitement cuit selon la demande. Chaque bouchée est un vrai régal ! Le service est chaleureux & attentionné, & l'ambiance du lieu est à la fois conviviale & élégante. Mention spéciale pour les accompagnements faits maison & la carte des vins bien pensée. Une adresse incontournable pour tous les amoureux de bonne viande. J'y reviendrai sans hésiter !

Nous étions un groupe de 8 personnes au final, l'expérience à était magnifique de A à Z. Tant au niveau du service que de la nourriture ou encore des cocktails, etc… Kamel nous a directement fait sentir comme à la maison, que ce soit sur la recommandation des plats, du vin (en accord) selon les envies de chacun. Je recommande à 100%.
If I could give it 10 stars I would. Came here with a a group of 11 hungry guys & we got the family style menu. We got to try pribably 8 different dishes & all of them were AMAZING. We came to montreal for 2 nights 3 days & thia restaurant was the highlight hands down. The chef even came to our table to see how we were doing, servers were friendly & attentive, wines were fantastic for the 80-100$ range per bottle. We were so happy with this choice!

Had a really good dinner at Méchant Boeuf. The salmon filet was perfectly cooked with a crispy skin & a rich white butter sauce that tied it all together. The fried calamari were just right: crispy, well-seasoned, & not greasy.
We wrapped things up with the key lime pie, fresh & not too sweet, a great way to end the meal.
Shoutout to Kamel for the friendly service, & to Jean for one of the best Old Fashioneds I've had in a while.
Good food, solid drinks, chill vibe. I'll definitely be back.
J'ai passé un merveilleux moment à Méchant boeuf. Le pavé de saumon & sa sauce au beurre sont succulents, je vous le conseille fortement ! J'ai également pris un gin tonic ainsi que le basil Fizz (moktail) légèrement pimenté qui sont le must du resto ! & surtout, un merveilleux service de la part de Valter qui m'a conseillé tout le long. Donc très agréable d'être servie avec autant de classe ! :-)
Méchant Boeuf is a very good steakhouse. The staff is polite & accommodating, we came for a birthday & were not disappointed. Food quality is exquisite, special shout out to our waitress. The wait time for the tomahawk steak was a bit long, around an hour, but at the end, it was well worth it.
If you're looking for a unique experience in the heart of Montreal, this restaurant offers exactly the type of gastronomic getaway you'd expect, all at a fair price with great staff.
The prices are steep, but this is justified with the taste & food quality. We did not mind at all
