We had Valter & he could not have been more kind, attentive & professional. I asked him if I could practice my French with him & he so graciously & patiently practiced & taught me things throughout the dinner. 11/10 service! The food was alright, but the Cesar salad was amazing! I'd go back just to see Valter again! Merci beaucoup, Valter!!!

The French onion soup though well broth & has plenty of cheese, it was way too salty for my taste. The T-bone was really good & the sides of mashed potatoes, salads, & cooked vegetables are really well done. Also, a hands up to Simon.

The restaurant itself & the food was good. But to pay this much for the service is really tough. I have time to sit here & leave a review because I've been waiting to pay for 25 minutes now. The table next to us waited for 20 min to order drinks & no one came so they got up & left, completely ridiculous for an expensive steak house. I'd try elsewhere where they take care of their guests better, our server was kind but only waited on table all night. It's not slammed busy so I'm not sure why the service is so minimal.

We were visiting from Edmonton & had a wonderful experience at Méchant Boeuf! The service was outstanding - our server, Valter, was friendly, attentive, & so kind with our kids. Our teens are in French immersion & were excited to practice their French on this trip. They did all the ordering for the table, & Valter & the staff encouraged them, making it extra special.

The food was excellent - beautifully prepared & delicious. Two members of our family have celiac disease, & the staff were very knowledgeable & accommodating with gluten-free options.

Overall, a fantastic dining experience that we'd highly recommend!

On a réservé une table pour deux. Excellent service, notre serveur Jérôme était attentif & nous a bien conseillé. La nourriture était excellent ainsi que le mijoto! Excellent Mojito!

The French onion soup was amazing. Wonderful filet mignon. Espresso martini, & The Pink Dove were great drinks. I recommend this place if you're in Montreal.
