This was the first resturant I went to on my first ever trip to Montreal. Food was outstanding, Marie-Joelle & Kamel were amazing. 10/10 would go again.

First time ever walking out of a restaurant. The server was incredibly rude & snide from the start without any provocation.
1) He became visibly angry & frustrated towards me just for letting him know that I was ready to order
2) He intentionally played dumb & pretended to not know what I wanted because I presumably was not pronouncing the menu item properly even when pointing to the item on the menu.
3) He also got angry at my date for asking for an Arnold Palmer because it wasn't listed explicitly on the drink menu.
Why any restaurant would keep such a miserable person on their front of house staff is beyond me.
Repas entre amis très sympa. Soupe à l'oignon en entrée à tomber par terre puis burger en plat excellent. Merci à Nolan pour ce bon moment ! Très bon service.
We visit Mechant Boeuf each time we stay at Hotel Nelligan & it never disappoints. The food is great & the ambiance is cozy. On our last trip, Kamel took extra good care of us. He surprised us with a special dessert arrangement at the end of our meal that made it fun to share.
Top shelf from start to finish. Started with some craft cocktails & straight into the oysters. Perfectly cooked steaks all around for dinner followed by a stunning dessert. The staff were very friendly & helpful in choosing some menu items. Looking forward to coming back again.
