I recently dined at Méchant Boeuf in Montreal & had a great experience overall. The service was outstanding, attentive, & friendly, which made our meal enjoyable. We tried the steak tartare, which had a unique kick, setting it apart from other tartares I've tasted. It was flavorful & had a nice texture. We also ordered the poutine with brisket; while the poutine was delicious, I felt the brisket could have used a bit more seasoning to enhance its flavor. The restaurant is in a great location, making it a convenient spot to enjoy a meal. I would definitely recommend it & give it four stars!
Un lieu très sympa, des serveurs très agréables & une nourriture très bonne que ce soit la viande ou le poisson!! Nous avons également eu des petits chocolats & macarons à la fin du repas de la part du restaurant, une très belle attention; merci!!
Enjoyed my dinner & service on my first night in town I decided to repeat it on my second night. Had a Filet cooked to perfection both nights. The bartender, Quentin, was both pleasant & attentive.

I ate at the bar two nights in a row because it was so good. The bartender customized a cocktail for me, which was nice, & kept me in club soda, which was extra nice. I had a perfectly cooked filet mignon one night, & the most outrageously good veggie burger the other night. It was a little noisy for my taste, but Fein, as a solo diner. I highly recommend this restaurant & will definitely be back.
From the time we were seated to when we left the experience at Méchant Boeuf 🥩 was outstanding. 'Nolan' who welcome us was methodical & very timely in his delivery. We never felt rushed. We then found out that he was at the end of his shift. We never felt that way. Valter then took over. Calter took service to another notch. He was seamless & flawless. He saw us off with a house gift, which really surprised us, but was very aligned with how he served us the whole time. Attention & resourcefulness was the core of the service. Our time at Méchant Boeuf was more than memorable- we will come back ever time we're in Montreal. Merci Les Amis!
