Belle découverte!! L' entrée de calmar excellente. Je n' ai jamais mangé un tartare de boeuf aussi bon. Le service de Chanelle était impeccable & de bon conseil pour l accord met & vin!
We had a wonderful experience for our anniversary. Our server Amélie was absolutely amazing! We would recommend this restaurant if you are looking for the perfect atmosphere & exquisite service.
Emma was fantastic behind the bar. We had come in after leaving another restaurant where we were not getting service & she quickly friendly, informative & fun!

Ma fille & moi sommes allées vendredi 13 dernier. Décor agréable, belle ambiance, menu très intéressant! Nous avons partagé un succulent carpacio de boeuf en entrée, ma fille a bien apprécié sa bavette & j'ai a-do-r-é mon saumon, tout simplement divin! Le service effectué par Valter a été absolument parfait en tout point comme on en trouve plus rarement depuis la pandémie! Souriant, sympathique, attentionné, vraiment impeccable! C'était notre première visite mais assurément pas la dernière...en espérant avoir à nouveau notre super serveur!
Nous avons passé une soirée exceptionnelle au Méchant Boeuf ! Le service était absolument irréprochable, un grand merci à Jérôme & Quentin pour leur professionnalisme & leur gentillesse. Dès l'accueil, nous avons été pris en charge avec une attention personnalisée qui a rendu notre expérience encore plus mémorable. Nous avons commencé par déguster de magnifiques huîtres fraîches & un demi-homard. Ensuite, le T-bone que nous avons partagé, etait parfaitement cuit, un véritable délice. C'est une expérience à renouveler sans hésitation.
We had a lovely evening in the Mechant Boeuf. We were well looked after by our waiter Valter. He was both friendly & extremely efficient. The food was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Le repas était absolument parfait ! Le tomahawk était fabuleux, la viande cuite à la perfection, les desserts ont sublimé le repas avec une tarte au citron particulièrement légère & goûteuse. Mention spéciale pour notre serveur Quentin, aux petits soins & extrêmement professionnel. Nous reviendrons dès que possible sans hésitation. Merci pour cette merveilleuse soirée !

Super expérience au méchant boeuf ! Le service de Quentin était excellent du début à la fin. Nous avons adoré notre repas & nous reviendrons à cette adresse sans hésitation
Walked by & decided we wanted to try the restaurant. Quentin took care of us & recommended us a wine to our taste! He immediately understood our taste. Both ordered a beef cut & cooking was perfect. Only negative point, a very loud table next to us. All in all, we had a great dinner for our last night in Montreal. Thanks!
Très bon restaurant avec ma copine dans le Vieux-Port. Valter s'est parfaitement occupé de nous, & le reste du staff était très aimable également. Merci à eux.

Food was amazing but service was quite slow. During the meal we sat with empty drinks for probably 20+ minutes before our server came by (I had to flag her down when I saw her as she didn't come over on her own) & she was very hard to find during our evening. I had to get up & go over to her at the bar to ask for our bills because we had been sitting finished our meals for a while with no communication from her. I expect better service when I'm paying this much. Atmosphere was very nice.
Couldn't ask for a better restaurant! I'm here in Montreal on business & after many salads, I needed something more... Merchant Boeuf served up the perfect course of three. Cannot recommend highly enough. Super service, delicious wine & scrumptious food. I've been before, I'll return again. Ambience is delightful; seated next to open window with Old Port life in the street & the hum of a lively eatery inside.
