Had a lovely on a Wednesday night with friends. While the food was delicious, what truly stood out was Valter's exceptional service. He was attentive without being intrusive. He timed each course perfectly, & it felt like he knew just when to check in. We never had to ask for a water refill which was greatly appreciated. Great steak, great companies, & exceptional service! Highly recommended! Would come again.

Nous avons passé une merveilleuse soirée au méchant boeuf, rythmée de viandes de qualité dans une ambiance aussi douce que chaleureuse. Le service est irréprochable, & côté menu, & je vous recommande vivement les côtes courtes braisées. Nous n'avons pas eu le temps de prendre de photo tellement les plats étaient appétissants, une belle excuse pour nous y rendre une fois de plus très prochainement.

I had a great experience with Mèchant Boeuf for their first night of their MTLàTable menu at 65$ The food was amazing. I highly enjoyed the scallop appetizer. The aïoli was well savoury & the seaweed brought out the sweetness of the scallops. The jerk rack of lamb was great. The meat was not as pink as I would have liked, but was very tender regardless. The spices used for the lamb were very aromatic & I enjoyed the light sweet touch added to the dish. Service & hospitality was excellent & we were made to feel very welcomed. Our waiter was very polite & accommodating to our requests. The chef came to greet us at the table to ask for our feedback regarding our meal. It was very nice of them to seek our opinions & to want to improve their menu based on customer feedback.

I had a great night! Special thanks to Jerome for the service & Quentin for the impeccable hospitality. I also later went to the bar & had some amazing drinks made by Julien ! I will definitely come back!
My boyfriend & I were on a short visit to Montreal, & we're so glad we chose Méchant Boeuf. The food, the service, & the ambience were all fantastic. I had the 35oz dry aged porterhouse, & he had the 45oz Tomahawk ribeye. Both steaks were cooked to perfection, & the sauces complimented them. Valter was an amazing server. He was knowledgeable & courteous. We didn't have to wait for anything. He took our experience & made it one to remember. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful experience.
