First, I want to thank Jerome for making our first date night in almost 3 years an extraordinary experience. I am not using "extraordinary " out of context here. I cannot thank you enough for the kindness you showed us during our meal. I am so thankful. My husband & I could not have asked for a better person to serve us our meal. I want to also thank the other service staff, you were so kind to us throughout the entire meal. Second, the food was very flavorful. My husband & I left nothing on our plates. The French onion beer soup was beautiful on a cold winter night. Both of our steaks were cooked to perfection (medium rare) . The desserts did not disappoint us as they were just as good as the rest of the meal. I would highly recommend trying this place, & asking for Jerome. He will make you wish everyone in the service industry was as kind & attentive as he is. Thank you for making a special night even more memorable for us.
This was soooo good. As a family of 4 we shared dumplings & calamari for an entree & they were so yummy. Then we did the steak & fries & that was the best feed we have had on holidays yet. To finish we shared the profiteroles with ice cream. So good. The service was excellent, staff were terrific & the location was brilliant. Highly recommend.

Un service hors de ce monde. J'ai adoré ma soirée, le service était bon, le staff était d'une rapidité & d'un professionnalisme impeccable. Une Motion spécial à Amélie, Quentin & Emily pour avoir fait moi soirée. Je serais de retour à 100% & je recommande se restaurant pour une expérience inoubliable!

Service impeccable! Vous vous devez d'y aller si vous êtes amateurs de viandes. Notre serveuse Amélie nous a offert un service hors pair. Je vais régulièrement au restaurant & j'ai rarement eu un service aussi exceptionnel que celui que nous avons reçu au Méchant Boeuf. Je recommande fortement! Si vous êtes dans le vieux port, il faut que vous essayez le Méchant Boeuf!
Emma was our waitress & she was amazing the best service we had in a long time made our night so much more fun :) we sat at the bar had a couple drinks witch were so delicious & her suggestions were right on point :) thanks again for the amazing service we will be back :)

Bonjour! Jeudi le 5 novembre, nous sommes débarqués avec un groupe de 15 personnes. Tous les membres de l'équipe ont été extraordinaires. Nous devions quitter pour 22h, car la ville devait faire des travaux & couper l'électricité. Tout était prêt à temps, le repas extraordinaire & que dire du service!! Dommage que je ne sois pas plus prêt de Mtl, j'y deviendrais une habituée!! N'hésitez pas à y aller en couple ou en groupe!! Cheers!
The oysters were fresh & came with the usual garnishes. The French onion soup was flavorful & a lovely start to the meal. The caramelized onions gave the soup a beautiful flavor. We got the 24oz dry aged cote de bouf. The steak had that distinct aged flavor infused into the meat & fat however was missing that nice crusty char on the outside. Service was non existent. Our waiter took our order but was never seen again until dessert. Finished dishes would accumulate on our table & not be cleared.
