McKibbins Irish Pub offre une ambiance chaleureuse et conviviale, où la musique live et le cadre pub traditionnel créent une atmosphère agréable. La nourriture est souvent saluée, avec des plats comme le shepherd's pie, le ragoût et le sandwich au bœuf Guinness avec jalapeños marinés qui font l'unanimité, et des classiques du pub qui plaisent aussi. Le personnel est généralement accueillant et efficace, et le service est apprécié pour sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité, avec des soirées où la musique est ajustée pour plaire à tous. La terrasse est charmante et l'intérieur cosy donne une ambiance sympathique pour se retrouver en famille ou entre amis. Même si certaines visites présentent des variations dans la préparation ou la rapidité du service, l'ensemble des retours reste positif et donne envie de revenir pour profiter du cadre, de la nourriture et de l'ambiance animée.
Le McKibbin's est un pub irlandais qui respecte vraiment les traditions ! Nous avons essayé le challenge Reaper… attention, c'est extrêmement piquant !! Très bonne sélection de bières & de drinks, belle ambiance, & expérience mémorable. Je recommande fortement !
We were a group of 11 people on a Monday. To our surprise, it was karaoke night. Service was great & quick for pub food & drinks, & ambiance was fun & engaging. We caught ourselves thinking we needed to make it a more regular thing!
Visited McKibbin's Pub on Saturday January 11th 2025 after a dinner out to continue celebrating my daughter's 25th Birthday! What a great night , we were a group of 10 & were lucky to be seated in front of the band & the dance floor. Service was excellent, drinks were great & well-priced! The band Jam Avenue was also fantastic & got all of us up dancing ...intergenerational group...but music we could all share ! They shouted out Birthday Wishes & dedicated a song as well ! Thank you for making this a special evening for my daughter ! We will be back soon !

We had an amazing evening celebrating last night! The waiter & waitress (I didn't get their names) were AMAZING & SUPER accommodating. We had initially booked the party room, but the restaurant realized they had double booked. In compromise, they gave us the "Titanic" area & allowed us to move the tables around so it suited our group. The food was really good & both the servers were bright, smiling & ready with a smile. They attended us regularly enough that we got drinks when needed but weren't overbearing. The food came out promptly & together, which is a great comment in the organization of the front & back of the house. Kudos!
Gave it another try today & it was an entirely different experience. The staff still gathered at the end of the bar but at least not to the expense of customer service. Staff is also taking care of cleaning fridges, mirrors & overall environnement. Waitress regularly made sure I was ok & that I was enjoying my drink & meal. I'm revising my evaluation & hope it'll stay that way. Each & everytime I go there, the barmaids sit at the corner of the bar, talking with friends & ignoring the rest of the customers. Takes forever to get any kind of service. Food is good though, when you manage to get someone interested in taking your order. I'll switch back to Duke & Devine, not too far off this place & where barmaids are into providing you with better service.
Bien accueillis. Serveur courtois. Fish & chip bien chaud, délicieux & croustillant à point. Par contre on aurait aimé avoir un peu plus de temps entre nos drinks & l'assiette principale. Ils sont arrivés presque en même temps.

At today's visit, the service was excellent.
A bit loud at the bar , some people had a bit to much to drink.

It was a slow day , not many people eating .
It whould have been great to receive our meals cooked like we usually get .

Food was horrible, overcharged for drinks. Managers response...... sorry you feel that way. 10 people in the place & still couldn't get the order right. Stay away!
We are very sad & very disappointed. We (15 families from Pointe-Claire) like going to McGibbins Point-Claire once a month, having drinks, eat & having fun. The food & staff in the pub are always amazing. Our children have been going with us to this place since they were young & really enjoyed this Pub.
In the last 6 months most of our children began to go at McGibbins on their own since they are now 18 year old +. What a shame for our neiborhood to discover that the bouncers are being so rude, out of line & inappropriate with them & this knowing that our children are always very polite & always respecfull. I went 3 times checking by myself at night to see how bad the bouncers were & I was shocked to see their behaviors & this, with most of the people going at night. This is very desappointing knowing that a place like this can destroy the good time we had just due to the staff at the door being so frustrated & so violent.
