McNiven's was a great first stop for me & my family after arriving to Newfoundland. The food was incredible & the fish was fresh. We were very pleased with the service by our waiter, Noah & the owner David. They were both very personable, efficient, & attentive. We arrived & found the place was 18+. Which was actually fine because it was a really nice evening to sit on the patio. The service was friendly. I got the club sandwich, which wasn't particularly good. The chicken was very dry & overcooked, & part of it tasted somewhat off. I'm pretty sure the bacon was the microwave kind like ready crisp or whatever it's called. As well, the sandwich was made on wonder bread. I suspect sandwiches in Ireland are made with much better ingredients.Voir plus
