McKibbins Irish Pub comes across as a versatile downtown favorite with a lively, welcoming vibe, excellent Guinness and pub fare, and a calendar full of events from sports viewing to standup comedy and live music. The back patio is a highlight and the overall atmosphere blends traditional Irish charm with modern crowds, making it a dependable spot for a casual night out or a night of laughs. The menu offers a satisfying range from wings and nachos to burgers and bison, with consistently friendly service across shifts. Regulars point to Monday and Tuesday comedy nights and upstairs shows as a big draw, while the bar and beer selection keep the energy high on weekends and sports nights. Overall, it presents as a dependable, bustling institution with great drinks, good food, and strong entertainment options that suit a variety of tastes and occasions.
The perfect place to share a meal & an experience. Super friendly & helpful staff who know the menu & can answer all your questions. The portions were like massive (same as always). Just a great time , great atmosphere, a great place to visit 😀
Annie was an incredible bartender who gave very insightful suggestions & an impeccable service. She poured my Guinness & Kilkenny perfectly! :) Thank you Mckibbons will be back!! ❤?☀?
This was the day after St. Patrick's day so there were lots of people downstairs in the bar having a great time. After some delicious food we went upstairs for the Standup show. Lots of great acts but the headliner was sublime - Sugar Sammy. What a pro! Not seen him before but might do again when he is next in the UK. My daughter got well roasted!
We went to McKibbins to see a comedy show & the whole experience was great!
The people are welcoming & friendly. The MC was hilarious.
We didn't try all the appetizing food that is on the menu. We did try the nachos & they were delicious. The only disappointment was there was no Guiness beer available. Bummer! However I tried the Irish red they had & it was good.
We will definitely go back..
This sports bar is everything a true fan needs. They offer a comprehensive range of pay channels-at least all the ones I could think of-which ensures you won't miss a game. The service is both friendly & efficient, & the beer selection is excellent. I especially enjoyed their onion soup-a real standout dish. With its vibrant atmosphere, this is the place in Montreal to catch a game, or even two!
One of my favorite Bar in Montreal. Amazing top notch service & staffs are so friendly & helpful. If you are looking for a nice bar around Montreal downtown, this is your go to place.
