Review Summary

McKibbins Irish Pub offers a classic Irish pub experience with a beautiful historic setting, warm and welcoming staff, and a lively atmosphere that shines on busy nights. The beer selection, especially Guinness, is described as fresh and satisfying, with happy hours and a broad range of drinks that attract regulars. Food is consistently praised for pub fare and large portions, with wings and fries, bison burger and shepherds pie mentioned positively, though a few reviews note price levels. Comedy and live music are standout draws, with Monday and Tuesday shows and a club vibe upstairs adding to the overall enjoyment. While some reviews mention cleanliness concerns, occasional price quirks on late night menus, and rare issues with seating or noise, the collective impression is a go-to spot for a good night out in Montreal. The venue's multiple ambiences, from intimate bar seating to a back terrace and upstairs performance space, make it a versatile hangout for sports, dining and entertainment.

Perfect place to enjoy happy hour. Long list of beers, some cocktail. Some of us ordered food & it was OK. Affrodable. Well located.

Very buzy on hockey nights!

I ordered the chicken tenders that were pieces of chicken breast with hardly any bread crumbs or batter. It was chunky, dry & distasteful. The worst chicken tenders I have ever had at a restaurant. Service was good though & the waitress was helpful. Don't go there for the food, maybe this place was just meant to be a pub & nothing more.

Went there yesterday with colleagues. I took the Rim Reaper Challenge. Those wings are from hell. I'm used to eat spicy food but this his beyond spicy. My saliva was still hot last night ;-)

On a culinary critique, those wings are undercooked. Meat still attached too firmly to the bones....

On the beer side, Murphy's all you need to know. Taste a Guiness, taste a Murphy's & most of you will return to the later.
