McKibbins Irish Pub comes across as a versatile downtown favorite with a lively, welcoming vibe, excellent Guinness and pub fare, and a calendar full of events from sports viewing to standup comedy and live music. The back patio is a highlight and the overall atmosphere blends traditional Irish charm with modern crowds, making it a dependable spot for a casual night out or a night of laughs. The menu offers a satisfying range from wings and nachos to burgers and bison, with consistently friendly service across shifts. Regulars point to Monday and Tuesday comedy nights and upstairs shows as a big draw, while the bar and beer selection keep the energy high on weekends and sports nights. Overall, it presents as a dependable, bustling institution with great drinks, good food, and strong entertainment options that suit a variety of tastes and occasions.
Took one of my best friends to celebrate her retirement dinner. Fries were overcooked, onion rings were tasteless & Moosehead wasn't as cold as it should be.
Has a really great Irish pub vibe. Great traditional items on the menu. The food is well priced & flavorful & there is a good selection of drinks on the menu.
Been going here for years but food seems to have taken a downturn. Had fries with curry sauce & fries were soggy & undercooked. Curry sauce has always been our favourite but was very watery this time. Beer was lukewarm.

McKibbin's had the best service out of all the restaurants & pubs we went to in Montreal last week! The main floor was packed, so we found a table upstairs. The atmosphere was nice & it was only a little bit busy. Despite a crowded bar, the bartender was quick to take my order & did everything right. I took our pints back to our table & waited for the food. Our onion rings & french fries were delievered in no time & they were really nicely done. I would definitely recommend McKibbin's to anyone looking for a great beer spot with friends!
drinks were good, service was sub par so we tipped 10%, & the waitress told us "just so you know, you're supposed to tip 15%." don't know why that was something necessary to say.
