Just tried this Iranian kebab takeaway for the first time & already planning my return! The koobideh kebab was incredibly juicy & perfectly seasoned, with generous portions of fragrant saffron rice & all the proper accompaniments. Everything was thoughtfully packaged & stayed fresh on the trip home. The staff was friendly & helpful with recommendations. I ordered from Mazzeh for the first time 2 days ago, will not be my last time! I ordered a Koobideh & two Joojeh Kebab. The price was right & the plates did not disappoint. The amount of food is generous & you feel you are eating clean, meaning doing good for your body. The chicken was delicious! My son loved his Koobideh. We are already planning our next take-out! I rarely leave reviews for any place, but this place is an absolute gem. Their food is amazing, but the prices are humble. Nowhere else in this city can I find Falafel for their low prices that DO NOT skimp out on portions. Every sandwich is filling, delicious, & affordable. It's quickly become my most reliable take out place. The atmosphere is lovely & the people are so nice. It's great to see a place like this open up in my neighborhood. Their location might be a little out of the way from busy restaurant hotspots, but I can't recommend stopping by & paying a visit to this place enough. They deserve more clients. Surely, however, I'll be buying enough Falafel & Koobideh to keep them afloatView more

A hole in the whole Persian resto! Delicious kababs! I don't like chicken kababs but I gobbled theirs down. It was juicy, tender & flavorful! The staff working there are the sweetest & I don't even know them personally. I had their chicken koobideh, beef koobideh, soltani & mirza ghassemi. Everything was delicious Went all the way from downtown. Will go again.View more

I ordered a falafel sandwich & a koobideh sandwich for pickup. The quality was good, there were room to add more falafel in their sandwich though😁, the price was fair. I recommend to try their sandwiches. With the increasing number of Iranian restaurants in Montreal, the market is becoming more competitive. They should maintain & improve their quality to stay successful.🙃View more

Located in a cozy space with a big warm heart Mazzeh brings Persian hospitality to Montreal. With a wide variety of dishes for every palate including what we sampled. The chicken Joojelicious which more than lived up to its name including sangak the incomparable Persian bread. We also tried the lamb Golpa Koobideh also with sangak which we'd never seen in this format making it super easy to roll our own sandwiches. For drinks we were adventurous & had the popular Iranian drink Istak that went perfectly with our meal of Persian delicacies. Looking forward to staying warm & well fed at Mazzeh during the long Montreal winter. A small space that also offers catering & takeout as well as deliveries. Shout out to owner/host Masoud who shared his deep knowledge of Persian philosophy around food to feed the body & soul. While you're waiting you can check out the resident beautifully illuminated copy of writings of Omar Khayyam for some impromptu divination. With any luck the message you receive will tell you to return to Mazzeh asap.View more
