It's been more than a year since I visited Maynard. I had a poutine among other delicious food when I was there. I think about that poutine often - no joke. If you are in the Montreal area & looking for a delicious vegan poutine LOOK NO FURTHER. This is it. Get your butt in there. I live in SW Ontario. Sometimes I fantasize about taking the train just to return to my beloved Maynard. I have never had a poutine that came close to this one. The staff there are wonderful. Fantastic vegan food. We were on a short 3 day trip to Montreal, & even though there were abundant options to choose from for food we went to this place twice because it was so good. The milkshakes are absolutely incredible. The vegan poutine was also very well made. Next time we are in Montreal we will certainly stop to try the oyster mushroom dish. Never in my life have I liked gravy until I went here. The poutines were delicious & the food was amazing. & they don’t skimp at all

& là, là le fait que j'habite vraiment à côté de ce merveilleux restaurant n'aide pas à ma cause d'arrêter d'en manger.
Le menu au complet est délicieux! tant que par le burger que le wrap au Mac N cheese.
& dear god leurs oreos frits c'est le paradis pour les papilles gustatives.
Les carnivores comme les végétariens seront satisfait !
Les gens qui y travaillaient sont polis & côtoie.

AMAZING! We tried a bit of everything. The tofu burger was insane, crispy, firm, & the brioche bun added a perfect sweetness with the spice. The vegan/bean burger was very good, nothing exceptional but still delicious. The truffle mac&cheese (only available for a limited time) was unbelievable. I couldn't even tell it was vegan. The sauce was cheesy & the flavor of truffle amazing. The deep fried oreos also amazing, crispy outside soft inside. The batter wasn't heavy at all.
Can't wait to go back! I love that the menu is small & every week they add some extra little dishes with local, in season produce. Also very reasonable prices.
