Nice atmosphere that's great for a date night or girls night! The tartare was great, really nice tapas place, the cocktails menu was great, had a fun night! Wish I had the chance to meet sliderman in person, maybe next time!

Mauvais Garçon was such a great surprise! Émile, our server, was incredibly helpful & made our experience even better. Everything was delicious - from the beer to the plates. The restaurant follows a tapas-style concept, with dishes meant to be shared, & the ones we've ordered were amazing. Make sure to get the Brussels sprouts & the fried chicken sliders!
It was just a quick stop to pass the time, but I honestly can't wait to go back!
Expérience mitigée. Le + : -La nourriture dans l'ensemble est plutôt bonne. -On ne vous bouscule pas & vous avez le temps de manger, ce qui n'est malheureusement pas le cas de tous les restaurants en ville -Les cocktails étaient bons Les -: -La musique était tellement forte que tout le monde parlait extrêmement fort -Le principe des "tapas" à Montréal devient fatigant. "On vous conseille de prendre plusieurs tapas à partager pour vivre l'expérience..." Oui sauf que cette "expérience" revient toujours plus cher que le classique entrée-plat & que toute la table n'a peut être pas les mêmes goûts? J'ai trouvé qu'on insistait trop pour qu'on prenne cette formule alors qu'il y avait des combinaisons qui fonctionnaient très bien pour faire une formule entrée-plat. C'est tout de même un restaurant sympathique avec des saveurs intéressantes dans le menu.
We love this tapas place! Food was AMAZING! EVERYTHING was so TASTY! Drink menu was great! I had mocktail Au Paradis! So good My partner had a very good wine too! The music & ambience were cool. The staff was very friendly & sleek ! There was so much laughter in this place. Dessert was pretty cool , funky & fun but a bit too sweet, overall is great ! It's a gem !
Let's start by saying if you love tapas & a decent variety for a small menu this could be the spot. I recently visited a Mauvais Garçons with 3 friends, & we had a fantastic experience. My friend reserved for us online for my birthday dinner! The service was excellent-attentive, friendly, & very personable. As mentioned, it's tapas, ideal to share dishes with whoever you're with. The variety of choices & flavours that kept us wanting to try more. We had tuna tartare, burrata, sliders, fries, brussel sprouts & cookies for dessert. Each service was more & more delish. The sliders really stole the show. I don't think anyone wanted to share. We sat outside! It was so enjoyable! I feel a great place to go on a date or bring a decent group of people. I saw there was a tasting menu & it seemed like everyone orders the Cesar - we didn't. But perhaps that means we need to go back? Made for a great pre-Birthday dinner!
We were there for NYE, & the service was too slow. We were supposed to have a fixed tapas menu, which was overpriced, & we got our first dish an hour after being sitted. It would take so long in between! at 11h30, we still had 4 dishes left that we decided to take home because we were not planning to be there for midnight.

Expérience mitigée ! Les plats sont excellents mais le service est vraiment à revoir & à travailler. Nous avons vus plusieurs serveurs. Ils ne s'attribuent pas de table & cela crée de la confusion. Nous avons été servis des 4 premières tapas en 10 min & après nous avons été oublié pendant 45 min mais la table à côté continuait d'avoir leur tapas malgré qu'il soit arrivée après nous. De plus nous avons eu une tapas de table de 4 au lieu de 2. Une fois mentionnée au serveur que nous attendions depuis longtemps & que nous voulions à emporter nous avons encore attendu 30 min ! Svp amélioré le service & aidé pour que les cuisiniers soient félicités !
My Partner & i went here for New year's eve, & to say we were disappointed is nice... We didnt mind the 2 hour limit, due to a holiday event we were understanding that there were other reservations. But this was under the assumption that we would be served the promised menu within those two hours. It took 30-40 minutes before we got the first of 8 tapas menu items, another 15 minutes for the second course & then the 3rd & 4th came rather quickly. We hoped that this meant we'd get to enjoy the rest of the food soon. Another 20 minutes went by & the 5th course never arrived. we asked our waiter (who was really kind) how much longer it would be, he assured us it wouldn't be much longer & that he'd ask for the service to pick up the pace. We waited another 30 minutes, at this point it's 9:30 (we were supposed to be up & out of our table for 10) & we asked him if we could just take the rest of the courses home. We waited an additional 25 minutes before we even got the bill, to which my partner asked if we could just leave the food & pay half because that's all we ended up actually eating. Miraculously, our to go bag was ready when it was time to pay the bill. While the food we did get to eat was good, the service put a sour taste in our mouths & we're unlikely to return.
Excellent Tapas menu. Owner is super nice, very helpful with explaining the menu offerings. Great cocktails. Our birthday evening celebration was amazing. Don't miss this gem & it's sister bar next door, Vendetta.
