Mauvais Garçons se distingue par une ambiance chaleureuse et intime qui met tout de suite a l'aise; la cuisine tapas et les menus degustation offrent une expérience variée et créative avec des plats soignés et bien présentés; le bar et ses cocktails ainsi que la carte des vins sont souvent salués pour leur qualité et leur esprit de partage; le service est en général attentif et sympathique, même si certains retours évoquent une vitesse variable et un niveau sonore parfois élevé; dans l'ensemble, Mauvais Garçons propose une expérience conviviale et gourmande avec des saveurs marquées et une atmosphère qui incite à revenir.
Honnêtement, il est rare que je donne une note aussi basse. Ce n'était pas le pire service que j'aie reçu, mais la nourriture était très décevante. Nous avons pris le menu 7 services ; cependant, les trois premiers plats & le dessert étaient à partager. Le seul point positif était la présentation, qui était jolie, mais sinon la nourriture était fade & très simple.
Le seul plat qui n'était pas raté était la salade César, bien qu'elle manquait tout de même de sauce à mon goût. Quant à la crème brûlée, il y avait au moins un centimètre de sucre sur le dessus, qui n'était pas entièrement caramélisé, ce qui donnait une texture granuleuse & désagréable en bouche.
Je ne recommande surtout pas ce restaurant. Allez plutôt au McDo : vous économiserez de l'argent & du temps !
Delicious moment at Mauvais Garçons! The cuisine is creative & flavorful, the atmosphere is warm, the service is attentive & the drinks are perfection! 10/10 recommend.

This place was a great culinary experience all the food was super tasty & fresh & had unique flavors!! The drinks were super delish & well made. A little pricey! But service was nice & friendly & the music was AMAZING! also really cool decor. I'd definitely recommend this place

Service & atmosphere were quite excellent. The staff is awesome too & overall nice vibe.
The tuna tartare was our first dish - very tasty. Unfortunately everything else was SOOO SALTY. I don't know if the chef that day was just heavy on the salt but it was hard to finish the other dishes because of how salty they were.
That's a shame because it was otherwise a great place. I guess we might have gotten unlucky that day.
The drinks were delicious!
It seems to get busy so reservation would be recommended.
Tout était excellent, le service avait le flow parfait, les serveurs très agréables, ils avaient une bonne communication (nous ont même demandé si nous avions des allergies) & un bon vibe! La nourriture était excellente de A à Z, nous avons adoré le menu expérience, je recommande a tous & c'est a refaire!

We enjoyed a wonderful dining experience at Mauvais Garçon. The cocktails were perfect & the food was an absolute joy. Everything was served with panache & each plate was prepared to perfection. My husband is very difficult to please & he was raving about each dish. The burrata was amazing, as weee the arracini & sliders. Our friends enjoyed the salad & gnocchi. I highly recommend Mauvais Garçon.

I love this petit cute place, nice cocktail( actually a little strong :))) but tasty, even their virgin cocktail is very nice, i asked something with basil & herbs & i really liked what I received! :) The food is very tasty, i liked the jerk cauliflower & Tuna & beef tacos! Highly recommended!
Excellent tasting menu. Highly recommend for a group. They also have some really excellent signature cocktails- I like the basil sour. The tacos & other salads & entrées at the beginning of the tasting menu are delicious, I know everyone talks about the sliders, which are also good but the hut that wasn't a highlight for me. This is on my list of places to take people visiting Montreal.
Arrivés ici par hasard, attirés par le nom du lieu, avons été superbement surpris en bien. Repas au super top... Serveur, Olivier au top, pour ne pas dire adorable 😜

Les seuls bémols pour mon avis perso :lieu sombre (mais pas foncièrement dérangeant, cela va avec le cadre) & super bruyant.
Mais la qualité du repas fait oublier ces points là.

By far, one of the best culinary experiences. Service is under par (very slow) however the waitresses are all very nice. The wait time is definitely frustrating but the minute you take your first bite it makes it ALL worth it. HIGHLY recommended... enjoy!

This was our second time at Mauvais Garcons & we once again had a great dinner. Staff was friendly & food was delicious. I highly recommend the ribbon salad & fried chicken sliders.
