Still dreaming of this meal. My partner & I went to Mauvais Garçon for our anniversary & enjoyed the'Menu Experience' which was a 7 course meal of some incredible dishes. We ordered a few extra as well because we like to try things. A fancier version of comfort food - right up our alley. The service was also impeccable & the vibes were great.
Slide 1: Caesar Salad house dressing, parmesan chips, herbed croutons. 10/10 probably our fav of the night but it's hard to choose.
Slide 2: Burrata - basil-arugula hummus, roasted chickpeas, pomegranate, zaatar, confit tomato relish. Again 10/10. We inhaled this.
Slide 3: Beef tartare -'jerk' aioli, grilled scallion, plantain chips. I never tried beef tartare before & was nervous to because I don't typically eat a lot of red meat. I appreciated the flavours but Jason enjoyed this one a lot more. 8/10.
Slide 5: Popcorn chicken - garlic, maple & dijon glazed, carrot, cucumber, chipotle mayo. This was not part of the'Menu Experience' but we wanted to try it - 10/10. Incredible. Our eyes were rolling behind our head.
Slide 6: Fried Pierogi - potato, caramelized onions, cheddar, beer-braised cabbage, dill yogurt. 8/10. I really enjoyed this one but Jason felt there was too much dill (he's also not a huge dill fan where I am). Melt in your mouth delicious.
Slide 7: Chicken Sliders & Truffle Fries - buffalo fried chicken, slaw, ranch, chipotle mayo. 10/10 another favourite. Chicken melts in your mouth. I'm usually not big on buffalo but I really enjoyed this. The fries were amazing too.
Slide 8: Cookies & cream. Need I say more? 10/10.

Nous sommes venus souper pour la St-Valentin. L'ambiance est super, le service aussi & la nourriture encore +. Nous avons pris le menu expérience : mention spéciale au tartare de thon & aux gnocchis. Le tartare de boeuf semblait haché & non coupé au couteau, mais c'est bien le seul bémol.
Belle ambiance, bonne nourriture & excellent service. Le bartender Jonathan a su bien me conseiller dans ma sélection de cocktails & de vin. Moi & mes amis avons passez une excellente soirée.

Food : le menu de 65$ n'est pas frais & pas bon , les tartares prêts de Costco même le thon était encore congelé 🥲. Trop de vinaigre & saucés extra salés que tu finis par te sentir incapable de continuer à manger des 1er plat (malgré que j'avais fin).
Service : le serveur se comportait bien mais a dû faire une erreur volontaire :) nous avons demandé un seul menu 65$ & d'autres plats pr la 2eme personne, on a demandé clairement si c'était possible & nous a confirmé oui & il a même résumé avant d'aller chercher la commande ok menu 65 x 1 fois & l'autre plat , à la fin il est venu nous dire que c'était 2 menus de 65 + plats…
Atmosphère : dark, music forte, pas assez d'espace , tables extra petites pour les plats
Belle découverte, j'y suis allé pour la première fois au nouvel an & il y'avait le menu special nouvel an donc j'ai eu l'occasion de goûter à peu près à tous les plats, ils étaient tous très bon sauf le tartare qui manquait de saveur à mon avis, sinon le reste était excellent! Le service est rapide & le staff sympathique...J'y retournerai très certainement !
La nourriture est originale, très bonne & bien apprêté. Le service est correct, mais pourrait être mieux. Le serveur nous a donné nos plats & n'est jamais revenu nous voir après sauf pour ramasser les assiettes vides. J'aurais bien pris un autre verre de vin. Pour l'ambiance la musique est très bonne mais beaucoup trop forte, difficile de s'entendre parler surtout lorsqu'on est plusieurs personnes, car certains sont assis un peu plus loin. J'y retournerais chercher de la nourriture, mais pas manger là c'est trop bruyant.

Great food. Excellent service & nice atmosphere. Good music! Really enjoyed the experience menu with my partner. Yummy espresso martinis!! But wish there were more beer/IPA options!
