When getting seated we requested to change tables because they put us right next to the entrance where it was freezing cold from the door, & the host said no , but then the couple after us asked & they were allowed to choose where they wanted to sit. We went here for our annual holiday get-together & found out if the recent influencer hype is justified. It's important to note we did not try the new "menu experience" because they lacked the items we wanted. So we picked our own. Firstly, we were greeted with, quite honestly, subpar service for a place with a menu at those prices. We realize the place is called "mauvais Garçons" , but the service was fitting of that. Apparently, "May I take your order?" has gone out of style & been replaced with an uninterested & lazy, "So what are we doing? What's happening for food?". But that's subjective; maybe I'm too old-fashioned or snobby ♂️ Our tabletop was also loose & kept shifting by serval inches every time we rested our elbows on it. As for the food itself, the sliders were by far the best thing we tried, & we have had better. We also don't understand how the menu says "à partager" but each dish is an odd number (3) of items. Yet, the tables are for 2, 4, or 6 people, not triangles or nonagons. Given the elevated price for the small portions, this is a problem for us. We ordered 3-4 plates each, a drink, & a dessert, spent $120 each (no GST/TPS that day), shared, & left hungry anyway (actually ate again elsewhere). The dessert was also tiny & subpar in taste. You may have seen some hype around the $65 7-course "menu experience". We suggest trying that if it includes all the dishes you want to try. But it's for a minimum of two people, so $65 becomes $130 to share one extra item (the plates will have 4 instead of 3 from what we saw in the reels). It's not as ridiculously cheap as advertised, but still slightly less overall, & maybe you won't leave hungry. For our experience, unfortunately it did not live up to the hype & was not worth driving through Montreal's Saturday dinner-time traffic. We apologize for the mostly negative review, we understand that our single, isolated experience may not be the norm at this particular restaurant.Voir plus

Belle place - rapport qualité prix imbattable avec le menu expérience mais je suis un peu mitigée quant à la qualité de l'acceuil, service etc....un peu trop pressés à mon gout, 0 sourire, on dirait qu'on est dans un fastfood & qu'ils ont juste hâte que tu quittes...mais bon ...j'ai peut être mis la barre des attentes trop haut- La cuisine est les prix sont très bien.Voir plus
Expérience mitigée. Le + : -La nourriture dans l'ensemble est plutôt bonne. -On ne vous bouscule pas & vous avez le temps de manger, ce qui n'est malheureusement pas le cas de tous les restaurants en ville -Les cocktails étaient bons Les -: -La musique était tellement forte que tout le monde parlait extrêmement fort -Le principe des "tapas" à Montréal devient fatigant. "On vous conseille de prendre plusieurs tapas à partager pour vivre l'expérience..." Oui sauf que cette "expérience" revient toujours plus cher que le classique entrée-plat & que toute la table n'a peut être pas les mêmes goûts? J'ai trouvé qu'on insistait trop pour qu'on prenne cette formule alors qu'il y avait des combinaisons qui fonctionnaient très bien pour faire une formule entrée-plat. C'est tout de même un restaurant sympathique avec des saveurs intéressantes dans le menu.Voir plus
Tout était excellent, le service avait le flow parfait, les serveurs très agréables, ils avaient une bonne communication (nous ont même demandé si nous avions des allergies) & un bon vibe! Went to celebrate our birthdays, three of us, & we chose the sampling menu at $65 per person. Each dish was fantastic. Whoever is in the kitchen cooking really knows how to condiment. Not one tasteless bite. The staff is friendly & kind, we ordered a bottle of wine. Even that was fantastic. My one down moment is that the two hour seating rule made us rush through our meal. That's the only drawback. I assume if you take the later seating, You can stay as long as you want. Bravo. Will come againVoir plus

Great spot for a casual dine out on a weekday. Service is fast & plates come out fast after you order them. Lots of great options in the menu. Food itself is pretty good but nothing out of this world. The servings are very decent. I found that 2 people can get full with 3 meals if ordered correctly. I would definitely come backVoir plus
