I had a really nice time there, the staff were very friendly & the food quality was great.
There was no wait whatsoever with a wide variety of desserts.
Although small the place is small, the vibe was just right.
For the matcha-foodies: a must-visit!
Super tasty (a little bit pricey) & excellent customer service. Definitely worth going there for a special occasion such as a date?
Thank you for these ice-cream (you'll keep a fond memory even months later 🍦)
Very pleasantly surprised by the matcha parfait - would recommend the zanmai signature with a bit of everything. I was debating requesting for no red bean paste, but I'm glad I ended up trying it - it tastes very different from what I expected, again not too sweet, & very flavorful. The matcha cake, jelly, & the white sticky rice balls were all amazing. The crispy rice? added an interesting texture to the dessert, in a very good way. Would 100% return for more!
This place was such a gem! Really reminded me of a matcha dessert spot I went to in Tokyo. I absolutely loved it. We got the zanmai signature, & it was divine! Matcha flavor was strong!
i got a matcha mille crepe & a matcha cheesecake, the color was kinda weird & it tasted very artificial.
disappointing!!
If you want authentic Matcha come here! Their matcha desserts were also so good. I had the matcha tiramisu which I recommend & my boyfriend has the matcha cheesecake which i wasn't a complete fan of but he loved it so it's really just a matter of personal taste. I'm already planning on coming back here the next time I'm downtown!
I had high hopes for this place given all the hype, but honestly, it didn't quite deliver. The matcha drink was good - smooth & nicely presented - but not exceptional. For a spot that's known for its matcha, I expected a stronger, more distinctive flavor. Instead, it felt a bit diluted & lacked that bold, earthy kick I was looking for.
What really brought the experience down was the price. It's definitely on the expensive side, & while I don't mind paying more for quality, I didn't feel like I got my money's worth here. The vibe is trendy & Instagram-worthy, but overall, it felt more style than substance. Glad I tried it once, but I wouldn't rush back.
