Matcha Zenmai is truly a hidden gem. If you're a matcha lover, this place is absolutely worth visiting. They offer premium-quality matcha in everything from lattes & desserts to ice cream, & you can genuinely taste the difference in the quality of the ingredients.

What I really appreciate about this spot is that the products speak for themselves. The service is excellent, the atmosphere is relaxed, & the overall experience feels very authentic & welcoming. It's a simple, no-frills kind of café where you can just sit back & enjoy a really well-made cup of matcha, whether hot or iced.

I had the iced matcha latte on a hot day, & it was incredibly refreshing. The matcha flavor was smooth, rich, & perfectly balanced. Their matcha ice cream also stood out to me because it's surprisingly hard to find matcha ice cream made with this level of quality & care.

You can tell the team here genuinely cares about their products & customer experience. I also appreciate that they seem to be keeping things reasonably affordable, which probably explains why I often see students here whenever I visit.

Overall, this is a fantastic spot to relax & enjoy high-quality matcha in Montreal. I'll definitely be coming back the next time I'm in the city. Thank you for the great service & amazing products!

best matcha in town!!! 🍵😙🤤 we come back almost everyday for our matcha latte & dessert!! we might have tried all the desserts & cakes on display & our favourites are definitely the matcha parfait (zanmai signature), ichigo azuki mochi & matcha chocolate cake🫶 we loved their matcha bavarois too (japan week special!!)

they also have the loveliest staff & their space is so cozy & welcoming✨ unfortunately we are leaving montreal soon & won't be able to come daily anymore 😭 so we're trying to mass eat & drink all the sweet treats offered by them before we leave :(

if you're passing by definitely give this place a try!!! 😚

One of the best place for matcha in Montreal! Located on the other side of the Concordia ev building. If you like matcha ice cream their ones is a must try! There desserts are also pretty & delicious too!

Si vous aimez le matcha, je vous conseille fortement d'aller visiter Matcha Zanmai. Il est situe en plein Centre-Ville de Montreal (pres du metro Guy Concordia ligne verte), Il a un menu avec une grande variete de boissons & desserts qui sont infuses & prepares avec la base du the vert matcha. Lots of fun desserts & drinks at this little matcha cafe! We tried the matcha tiramisu & a yuzu matcha. The tiramisu had a very strong matcha flavor & was so so creamy. This is the perfect spot for any matcha lover!

I had several of their desserts in the span of a week. The highlights for me were the Hojicha Tiramisu & the Yuzu Tartlette. I also loved the matcha soft serve. I would love to visit again.

Love their drinks & desserts. Their zanmai signature ice cream has a lot of toppings inside such as azuki beans & matcha jelly. They're all pretty good & the combination is very fun to eat.

The place is very small & there aren't many seats.
