Avis pour Masala Art Restaurant
We were not greeted by the employee when we entered. When we sat down we were asked if we wanted to see the menu!?! The waiters (there were two) did not ask if we wanted anything from the bar. The food arrived in a timely manner and was delicious (LOVE the chettinad chicken!). At no time were we asked if all was OK or if we enjoyed the food or if we wanted coffee/tea/desert (there were only a few others in the restaurant so they certainly would have had the time to do that). Just seemed as though the 2 employees were not trained and/or familiar with the usual server manners. Due to the sub-standard service experienced, would not dine there again, but would order for delivery.
We really enjoyed the food and the service. The people were very welcoming and open for suggestions. We would definitely like to visit again.
Amit, the restaurant co-owner, was so welcoming that it was a delight to meet him while we were waiting for our order to be ready. The food was delicious and the chef is one of a kind. I highly recommend this restaurant and I'm sure to become a regular there.
Excellent service, rapide, efficace, la nourriture est très bonne, j'ai beaucoup aimé?????
I highly recommend this restaurant! This food is to die for. and if you like Indian cuisine, this place will serve you an authentic one.
Best indian cuisine in Montreal! I've tried so many different places and this is the only one that truly tastes delicious, fresh and authentic. I've recommended it to all of my friends😍
Loved it ! Perfect service, knows how to make authentic Indian. I'm a picky eater, mostly when it comes to Indian cuisine but this restaurant wow ! Would 100% recommend it.
Ordered for the first time last week and everything was excellent. We had Samosas, Onion Bhaji, Butter Chicken, Tawa paneer, Shai Malai Kofta, with Naan bread, raita and rice. It was divine best Indian food we have ever had. Liked it so much we are ordering again tonight.
I wanted to support a new west island restaurant... and here goes ... Amazing food.!I had the Dal soup onion Baajhi, Butter chicken, beef biryani , Dal Masala Art , Chana Masala Baignan Bharta..each dish perfectly created with its own special fragrant spices. The butter chicken with beautiful tender chicken pieces cooked with a velvety cream sauce the beef biryani... so fresh, so pleasing to the palat. We have many west island Indian restaurants, all of them with their particular specialties and prices. Masala Art stands up a notch in perfection and delivery Try it out, you will enjoy the superior quality of this new establishment with friendly and prompt service ...
We tried this restaurant last week and the food was fantastic.
We normally go to Sahib for indian food, but the last few times there was issues with delivery either being late (food cold) or some items missing in the order (and they didn't seem to care when we complained).
Anyhow, it turned out to be a good thing. At Masala, the food seems fresher and tastier. If you enjoy indian food, I strongly recommend it.
Very very very good Indian food. The tika roll and tandoori chicken were flavourful and just spicy enough; good value for money. Best palak paneer I've eaten in Montreal. I highly recommend this place!
Absolutely best Indian food I have had. I highly recommend the butter chicken poutine. A wonder take on a Quebec classic. Service was quick and friendly. Highly recommended.
