The food was incredible! We ordered the chicken biryani & beef tehari-both were freshly made & full of flavor. The dishes reminded me of the home-cooked meals I grew up with in my Bengali family. We ordered Roast Polau. It was freshly made & superb.
Also, when we got there was no kebab. But then the owner cooked for us. She is very cordial & friendly. She will make her guest feel welcome.
She is very generous also gifted us a dessert.

A Hidden Gem in Montreal - A Taste of Bangladesh!
We traveled from Ottawa for a day trip to Montreal & chose Moonstar based on its high rating. At first glance, the entrance & décor might seem a bit underwhelming, but trust us-once you taste the food, you'll understand why this place is so highly rated.
The flavors took us straight back to Bangladesh, especially the biye bari r roast polau, which was perfectly spiced & incredibly comforting. We also had the tehari & haleem, both bursting with rich, traditional flavors. Every dish felt like a nostalgic trip home.
All in all, highly recommended-this spot is a must-visit for anyone looking for authentic Bangladeshi cuisine in Montreal!Voir plus

It was our first time in Montreal, & we were looking for a place to eat late at night around 11:00 PM. After struggling to find anything open, we finally came across this gem-& to our surprise, it's open 24 hours! The prices were incredibly cheap, so we ended up ordering a lot of food.
