I highly recommend their burrata with pistachios & their crudo di branzino. Their pesto pasta was also very good. We ordered two different desserts, but all of us liked the tiramisu better.
One thing to note is that the music is a bit too loud, which makes it somewhat difficult to talk. If you stay for too long, you might even get a headache, haha!
Also, be prepared to wait up to an hour for a table.
I had high hopes for Mano Cornuto but it fell short of expectations. The food (all 3 of us had pasta) was good, but nothing I will remember. The desserts were amazing, but 15$ for a slice of cake/tiramisu is way too much. Portions were so small I was still hungry after spending 60$ on a main dish, a dessert & a drink. & the tip options start at 18%. Definition of overcharge & under deliver. For similar prices, Bistro Amerigo delivers memorable dishes with bigger portions.
Had such a great meal tonight. Service was welcoming & casual. Great energy in the place. We sat at the bar & started with the burrata which was accompanied by a delicious pistachio hummus & then had the brazino crudo - with a spicy kick. Mains were pesto tonarreli & bolognese - very generous servings. Would have loved to tried dessert but we were so full. Can't wait to come back.
We dined yesterday for a Graduation dinner with a reservation.
Unfortunately, it had rained which forced customers from outside to come in & our original table was therefore given to someone else. After waiting, we were seated at a high-top in the back & was promised by the hostess they would take care of us & apologized for the issue. This was very appreciated, however at the end of the service, our waiter said he couldn't really do anything for us because we didn't want dessert & we had ordered a bottle of wine.
Finally, he removed the $10 Foccacia from our bill but considering the plates took forever to come out & our original waitress who started our service didn't even introduce herself & gave us very disorganized service at the beginning, & left us waiting for 15 minutes before acknowledging our table, it just felt like we were very neglected. What was supposed to be a good night, left a bad taste in our mouth. Food was still excellent but these days, good food is not enough to make customers want to spend their money with you.
Truly wonderful staff. Our daily special of pasta marinara with stracciatella was delicious, the sandwiches were extra yummy. Our server brought us a choice of wines by the glass to taste, & the special dessert was to die for! But again, their servers are simply the best!
First visit (October 2025) - The pistachio burrata is really something extraordinary, would 100% order again. For the main I had the beef ceviche which seemed slightly too salty for my taste. For dessert, once again the pistachio coffee cake was very delicious.
Second visit (March 2026) - The pistachio burrata is still amazing, tiramisu tastes great + service also very good. Had to reduce to 3 stars because their payment terminal suggested tip amounts based on the total including taxes instead of the pre-tax subtotal. This is not legal in Quebec as of May 2025 under Bill 72.
The food was incredible but the service was okay. It felt like they took a long time to flip their tables. Both the appetizer & the main took a while to get to me & it sadly took a while for me to get a drink. My waitress was also a bartender so I can empathize with how busy she was & how tough it may have been to check in on me. I noticed how the lineup to get inside was super long so i just decided to ask for my food to be packed up & ordered my dessert to go. Despite all of that, I had a decent time & I would definitely come back - just not on a busy night.
Daniel & the Guy server with the Grey Obey shirt were really nice & welcoming . When it was time for dessert & I wanted amaro they took the time to show me all the amaros they had & recommended me some. Overall my girlfriend & I had an amazing night with amazing food. FORZA ROMA
Un ami m'avait dit ne pas avoir aimé son souper au Mano Cornuto. J'ai voulu me faire mon propre avis !
