The burrata with pistachio was really good! I got the pesto pasta, enjoyed the perfect al dente texture, but found it too salty to my liking. The portion seemed small at first but I ended up feeling full, the pasta was surprisingly heavy. The vibes of the restaurant are nice, but expect lots of smells/smoke from the open kitchen. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mano Cornuto, & it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the warm ambiance & inviting decor set the perfect tone for our evening. We started with the Caesar salad, which was crisp & flavorful, perfectly dressed without being overwhelming. The burrata was a standout - creamy & rich, it paired beautifully with the fresh accompaniments. The roasted squash (zucca arrosto) was a delightful surprise, showcasing a wonderful balance of sweetness & savoriness that left us wanting more. For our main course, we indulged in the mafaldine al pesto, which was simply divine. The pasta was cooked to perfection, & the pesto was vibrant & fragrant, making it one of the best pasta dishes we've had in a long time. We also tried the carpaccio de manzo, which was beautifully presented & melt-in-your-mouth tender. We were so full by the end of our meal that we didn't have room for dessert, but that just gives us another reason to come back! Overall, Mano Cornuto exceeded our expectations in every way. I just tried this place for the first time & I have to say the food wad AMAZING. Hands down the BEST caeser salad I have ever had, I would go back just for that. We had the burrata, the pasta & the tiramisu too & it was all delicious. Fresh ingredients & great flavour. Stopped in for a quick lunch & lucked out as we didn't make a reso. Definitely recommend making one! Great vibes & fantastic service. While we waited for our table, we watched the well oiled kitchen do their thing. Our mouths watered in anticipation. Their menu is simple & short. You know it's going to be good! Order the Caesar salad. You'll be sorry if you don't! So good! We also shared the burrata that came with the most delicious focaccia bread. Plats: Les entrées de Burrata sur purée d'artichauts, le crudo Di Banzino, la salade Caesar (une des meilleures que nous avons goûtés à Montréal) & le focaccia étaient incroyablement délicieuses! Absolutely insane food. Everything was so good, service was fast, & I loved the open kitchen concept by the bar so you can watch the chefs cook! The menu is just right-not too many options so as to be overwhelmed, but every dish had its own spin, be it a unique pasta shape or an unexpected flavor profile. We had the burrata with focaccia (10/10), the bolognese, & one of the pesto pasta dishes. The dessert menu was excellent as well, which is not always the case for dinner establishments-we thoroughly enjoyed the pistachio coffee cake & tiramisu with a bit of an orange zest kick. We had the Burrata & the Spaghetti al Pesto & the Curdo di Branzino; I loved the Branzino & really enjoyed the Burrata, the pasta was a little sour for me tho. My partner however loooved the pasta as he has a "sour tooth", but we both agreed that the Branzino is a must try! Oh & the olives were really delicious too! Première fois a ce resto charmant alors que je demeure juste a coté. J'attendais qu'ils acceptent les réservations pour éviter de faire la file a l'extérieur alors voila que j'y suis enfin allé hier. Le service est cordial quoi qu'un peu froid. Entrée de burrata était mémorable, le tataki de boeuf n'était pas a notre gout mais ça ne veut pas dire que ce n'était pas bon. C'était juste différent de ce que je commande habituellement ailleurs. Le plat de saucisse, enfin l'assiette avec la saucisse n'était pas cuite. Le pire pour nous a été le steak de thon. Il semblait avoir été saisie dans la friture de saucisse. Le gout de la sauce était épouvantable. Ça nous a levé le coeur. On a pas pu manger plus de 3 bouchées. Pour les pâtes au pesto personnellement je préfère mes pâtes plus cuite mais c'est un gout personnelle. C'était tout de même de bonnes pâtes. Mon chum italien pense la même chose du repas. It's safer to make a reservation before you go. We went for lunch & was seated right away. It wasn't busy at 11:30am which we really liked. We were sat at the bar coz we were two people. We ordered their famous pistachio burrata & it was fantastic!! Burrata was so moist & soft but a bit chewy as well👍🏼 the artichoke pistachio pesto was amazing too. Focaccia that came with the burrata was really good too. Next, the classico sandwich was delicious too with sweet honey & some cream that was soo goood. Nothing bad about it! It was a great choice. However the basil pesto pasta was a bit of disappointment. My husband liked it but it was too salty or should i say i felt like drinking pickle juice. My tongue felt like covered in vinegar & salt. But it was the lemon in the pesto. I couldnt continue eating more than 3 forks. Last, we got their tiramisu & the lemon jest on top added an excellent taste to the dessert. Loved it! (We were just tooooo full to fully enjoy the tiramisu tho. *sad*) Overall, their oj, macchiato, food, everything was great! Will be back again🩷View more
DELICIOUS little Italian restaurant. We were sat at the bar section & ordered a few plates to share. SO much flavour & such quality ingredients in each plate! I highly recommend reserving a table in advance as its small & gets packed really quick MUST order the piatto antipasto charcuterie board & their burrata (forgot to take a photo unfortunately). Their Caesar salad is so unique but a tad sweet for my liking, & finally the tonnarelli al pesto, so much great flavour for such a simple dish. I had the burrata & the fish as an entree which were very good. Their pesto tastes incredible. However, it took so long for the burrata to come. We were told that we only had one hour & a half at our table, & the entrees itself took nearly 30 minutes to come. I had the pesto spaghetti, but I fear it was undercooked. It was hard to chew & it was just unpleasant. Also the pasta took quite a while to come - I would have expected it to be properly cooked. J'ai commandé, à boire, le calvados fancy sour & j'ai été un peu déçue, j'aurais pu prendre un verre de rouge régulier & il n'y aurait pas eu de grande différence. Comme repas principal, mon tartare de boeuf était excellent avec un beau mélange entre le sucré & l'acidulé. Mes copines ont commandé les bologneses & les ont bien appréciées aussi.
