The Secret is out- Mamina. The Main Street dining experience from a neighbourhood restaurant. You thought you had to drive an hour, slalom the cones, avoid the potholes , get stuck in traffic & pay parking for a decent meal. Wrong. Little Italy is dead & buried. Mamina restaurant! Pizzas délicieuses, calmars croustillants, arancinis moelleux & légers. Les meilleurs pâtes carbonara que j'ai jamais mangées. Petit trésor de notre quartier, longue vie à Mamina!
We've been going to Mamina for a few years now & the food is really good.
Menu is varied & tasty & service is professional.
I have to say however that i am disappointed that they changed the way they make the pîzza…..don't know what or why they changed it, but it is not as ''authentic', as it used to be.
Their pizza was in my top 3 spots in Montreal for real Italian, thin crust pizza. Lately, it just feels like an Americanized pizza.
I hope they bring it back the way i used to be because as of right now, I'm not going there anymore when I want a good pizza.
