Stopped in to pick up an order for my very pregnant sister & honestly I'd go out of my way to come back here. It looked cozy & romantic, smelled delicious & everyone was SO genuinely friendly. My sister loved her food & if it wasn't so late in the evening, I would have had a coffee with the chocolate crepe because it all smelled & looked so amazing. They even went out of their way to hold the door for me on the way out. Just super lovely people making super delicious food in a super beautiful little spot!Voir plus
Its a cute spot to have some chocolate desserts & its just opposite to water so you can have a great view. But I did not like the cappuccino & it was 9 dollars excluded taxes. Also I ordered take away but they dont have proper disposable glasses. They should have mentioned that before taking the order. Not worth it to spend this much for that kind of coffee.Voir plus

Makaya is an incredible Haitian bistro with delicious chocolate, desserts, food, & drinks. The atmosphere is warm & cozy, with a beautiful view over the old part of Canal Lachine. We ordered hot chocolate, frappés, savoury chicken & cheese crêpes, & bought some desserts to-go - everything was amazing! While we were there during the evening, & happened to catch a beautiful view of the sunset over the water, it also makes for a great spot for a coffee break &/or brunch.Voir plus
