The portions are incredibly generous & every single dish we've tried has been absolutely delicious. The food is always fresh, flavorful, & full of taste. The service is also excellent. Our favorite Turkish restaurant, & we always look forward to coming back!
This is an arabic restaurant, don't get me wrong, it is not bad, but the way meat is seasoned is arabic style. That being said'pide viande' was very good. Meat & Kebab are also not bad, just not what you would get in a typical Turkish restaurant. I think it is very likely that the owner is not Turkish.
Date of Visit: Sunday, December 7, 2025
Time of Visit: 11:30 AM (Restaurant Empty)
⭐ Ambiance & Seating (3/5)
We arrived right at opening on a cold Sunday morning. While the restaurant was empty, we were initially seated at a side table near the window. Given the winter temperatures, the chill became noticeable within five minutes. We requested to move & were promptly relocated to the warmer center of the dining room.
Suggestion: Since cold temperatures near the windows have been noted by other diners, it might be more efficient for staff to automatically seat early customers in the center of the restaurant during the winter months.
A notable issue was the noise level once the second table arrived (seated approximately two meters away). Their conversation was extremely loud, making it difficult for us to hear each other & enjoy our meal.
🍽? Food & Flavor Profile
1) Pide with meat & egg - $11.99 before tax - Unexpectedly really tasty eventhough I'm used to Pide with cheese. Every pide I have ever had, both inside & outside of Istanbul/Turkiye, included cheese. Despite this omission, the flavor was way better than anticipated.
2) Kebab Filet Mignon 2 sticks - $27.99 before tax - The meat was tender, but the marinade was heavily spiced, particularly with cumin. This strong spice profile, which wafted noticeably when the server approached, extended to the accompanying fries
🤔 Authenticity & Overall Impression
A note on Authenticity: I must respectfully disagree with other reviews that label this as'authentic Turkish' cuisine.
• The flavor profile, especially the heavy spice use in the kebab, leans very strongly towards a Middle Eastern style rather than the typical, more subtle seasoning found in classic Turkish cooking.
• My Turkish husband agrees that while the food is good, it is not authentically Turkish. We both felt that if the restaurant were named something other than a Turkish descriptor, it would be a more accurate representation of the food served.
• For Context: I did confirm with the waitress that the chef is Turkish.
✅ Service & Logistics
Service was prompt & attentive, which is understandable as we were the only customers. Our server was efficient, juggling our needs while preparing the restaurant for the day. Payment is handled at the cashier station near the entrance.
Overall Rating:
Good food, but the strong Middle Eastern flavor profile & the initial seating/noise issues prevent a perfect score. If you are seeking genuine Turkish flavors, you may be disappointed; if you enjoy Middle Eastern-style kebabs, you will likely be satisfied.
Had a great experience at this Turkish restaurant! The food quality was solid & everything we tried was tasty, especially the traditional Turkish dishes. There's a good variety on the menu, so there's something for everyone.
The prices are reasonable, & the overall atmosphere is warm & cozy. Good for a relaxed meal with family or friends.
There's also plenty of parking available, which makes the visit even more convenient.
Don't miss the tea & baklava, they were absolutely delicious
If you're a fan of Turkish cuisine, especially beef doner kebab, this restaurant is bound to become your sweet spot in all of Quebec. I find myself there almost every weekend to savor the delicious taste of their Turkish beef kebabs. What truly sets this restaurant apart is their freshly baked bread made on-site. Not only does this ensure an incredibly fresh dining experience, but the joy of savoring warm, fragrant bread is incomparable. The aroma of freshly baked bread is nothing short of heavenly, & you can feel it in every bite. Another treat you absolutely must try is their popular Turkish dessert, freshly made & piping hot kunefe, served with traditional Turkish tea in a slender glass. I highly recommend this restaurant. I'm confident that once you try it, you'll find yourself thinking about the flavors you experienced there, & this delicious memory will keep drawing you back time & time again. Bon appétit!
I recently visited a Turkish restaurant that offer a truly delightful dining experience. The food is absolutely delicious, showcasing authentic Turkish flavors that are rich & satisfying. The décor is stunning, creating a warm & inviting atmosphere that adds to the overall enjoyment of the meal. The seating area is thoughtfully designed & very comfortable, making it a great place to relax & enjoy your food. The customer service is excellent attentive, friendly, & accommodating. The staff go above & beyond to ensure guests have a pleasant experience. However, my family & I found the food a bit too salty, which is the only drawback in an otherwise flawless experience. That said, the taste & quality of the dishes still shine through. Overall, it's a wonderful restaurant I'd recommend to anyone who enjoys Turkish cuisine. Just a small adjustment to the seasoning would make it perfect.
