persian(114) recommend(78) tahchin(60) highly recommend(52) cozy(47) dishes(45) decor(41) flavor(40) beautiful(38) eggplant(35) quality(33) authentic(30)The food was okay, few flies were constantly landing over our coffee drinks, the server never brought water or ask if anyone needed water, the servers would never make any eye or face contact once the initial dishes are placed on the tables, the attitude is such we don't care weather you as a customer ever come back or not, no refill on coffee period unless you pay $5.45 per small cup filling. The breakfast was a combination of items in small mini cups which are not what one sees on the presentation of the color photo on their menu such as a bit of Jam , a bit of peanut butter, a bit of walnut cup, it's not we wanted. We were expecting two eggs, fresh cut tomatoes, sliced pieces of baked bread & a bit of fresh cheese. Why would a restaurant just serve items which were not on the discussion & could be allergic to people & call this combination a cool thing. Would not recommend it unless you have no options left. Hope the management or owners would consider to remedy these issues.
Food was delicious, service excellent, it just felt like Home!!!! I will certainly come back!!
Nice atmosphere! My friend Majid introduced this place to us! We enjoyed our dishes with homemade drinks! Very classy & high qualified
I recently saw this restaurant on my Instagram feed & decided to try it out. The decor & atmosphere were really charming. As soon as you walk in, it feels like a cozy nook in the middle of a bustling city. The decor, chairs, plates, & everything are super cute & picture-worthy. The staff were incredibly friendly & welcoming. As for the food, there weren't too many options, but the few items they offered were prepared with mastery. We tried the Kababi digi tahchin, which was really good & tasty. The sides that came with the food were also delicious. We also ordered the eggplant dolma, which was good but very oily, & some of the eggplant sheets were raw. Despite this, the presentation of the dishes was good. The drinks were okay-nothing out of the ordinary, but good. Price-wise, they are on the pricier side, more like beautiful fantasy type food. We ended up paying 105$ with tip for what you see in the pictures.
My wife & I had an amazing experience for our first time here. The food was phenomenal & we didn't wait long for it either, our server, Arshia, checked on us multiple times &, after a mistake on my part, accommodated us despite a reservation error. Food 10/10, Service 12/10
The very first thing you notice when stepping in, is the exciting interior design. Very representative of Iranian culture. Loved the food & the ambience. The staff's very friendly.
Le meilleur restaurant perse au Canada! À visiter absolument, tous les plats sont sublimes, on se croirait à Téhéran. & pour dessert, le gâteau humide au safran était divin, à déguster avec un thé à la cardamoms
Nice place, friendly staff, but very small portion with average quality.
We had a very nice & delicious experience. Everything was amazing. Special Thanks to the manager & chef
Today, I went with my friend to Maison Inja. The moment we entered, we were enveloped with the cozy ambiance & the familial atmosphere that is reflected clearly by the decorations. The waitresses were very welcoming & smiley. The menu is rich with the best Persian dishes, appetizers, hot & cold drinks, & sweets. They offer alcohols too. We had the beets appetizer which was so good. I took lubya with lamb & my friend kufta. The portion is big & satisfied. They offer the main dishes with a small bowl of yoghurt & delicious green olives. The iced tea is so good & the one with basil seeds (can't recall its name). After, we had a small tea pot consists of Iranian tea & cardamom with the delicious saffron & rose water cake. We split the things we ordered so each one of us almost paid 60$. So far it is the best Persian restaurant in Montreal. It is a bit pricey for many but it is worthy to try it once if you love the Persian cuisine❤️
The service & atmosphere at this restaurant was absolutely top tier. The homey & cozy decor made it feel like you were at a dinner part at someone's house rather than at a restaurant. We sat in the restaurant chatting & eating for a long time, but never felt any pressure to leave from the staff even though the restaurant was quite full. The food was also fantastic, as well as the unique & flavorful drinks. I appreciate the more limited menu, because everything was obviously made with care. I will note that a few of the dishes were slightly different than the menu description when they arrived, but it's no big deal. Maybe the english translations were a bit inaccurate? But overall Maison Inja was a 5 star experience. The atmosphere was truly unique & I will be sure to come back if i'm in Montreal again.
The food was absolutely delicious, & the design of the restaurant was so unique & lovely. A fantastic dining experience!
It was really homy & nostalgic, took me so far away from Canada 🇨🇦, u can go to Iran , I thought i am in my family home when i was there, enjoyed everything. Especial thx to Pooneh🙏❤️
This restaurant is a real gem. The decor is so fresh & cozy & the food is really really good.
The interior design is so beautiful. The dishes, wallpaper, chairs, etc. have a nostalgic Persian vibe that we loved. The food was also decent other than Shirazi Salad which I didn't like as it's not a traditional one. I believe they should rename it so that people are not confused. Tahchins come with yogurt & olives which is a nice touch. I would have liked more eggplant in my chicken eggplant tahchin, but I liked it anyway because it was well seasoned & so saffrony. Overall it was a pleasant experience.
Too much expensive base on the portion. The Cesar salad was disappointing. Plus tax it was 20$ for this salad.
