Lovely restaurant, with a very unexpected decor. Very homey.
Not very big so reservations recommended.
The food was excellent & quite copious. Be advised against ordering too much.
The noise level is a tad loud.
Le lieu est chaleureux. De belles grandes tables. L'ambiance est relaxante. La service est impeccable & la nourriture délicieuse. Un beau menu avec des prix abordables.
Maison Inja was my first try to Persian food, I left very satisfied already planning my next visit. The dishes are thoughtfully crafted & the drinks was the best I've ever had. Service was impeccable- friendly & attentive without being overbearing. A must visit for anyone who appreciates quality food & a cozy yet refined atmosphere.
Maison Inja is a beautiful restaurant next to its sister café Aunja on Sherbrooke. We were a party of two & ordered the (1) Eggplant & Chicken Tahchin [$36.85], (2) Lentil Delight Appetizer [$15.85] & (3) Borage Teapot [$15.99]. The tahchin tasted mostly like chicken, as we were unable to see or taste the eggplant. Note that it is VERY filling. We enjoyed the lentil appetizer but were surprised at the few pieces of bread given (that was visibly ripped apart). We asked for more which came with a surcharge of $2.99! We were also tucked away in a corner where we didn't have any water refills the whole night & kept waiting for a server to come around. Despite the lack of attention from the staff & high costs, we had a wonderful time & enjoyed the restaurant's ambiance. I would highly recommend the borage tea & lentil appetizer! I will probably return & order a different tahchin to try next time. In total, the bill came to $82.41 after tax & before tip.
'I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The atmosphere is incredibly warm & inviting, with beautiful & tasteful decor that creates a cozy yet elegant vibe. The food was absolutely delicious, made with high-quality ingredients & bursting with flavor. The staff were friendly & attentive, providing excellent service that made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!'
I loved it! we ordered traditional tahchin (eggplant & chicken), Adaspolo tahchin, & Veal eggplant tahchin, all were really tasty.
Although the menu has basically two types of main dish, tahchin or borek, they are kind of masters in making them!
Kind of on the pricey side of restaurant!!
A very comfortable & chic place, perfect for a small gathering. The ambiance was warm & inviting, & the service was great.
The portions were well-presented, offering a modern take on Iranian cuisine. It's a wonderful spot to enjoy delicious food in a stylish setting!
However, it's a bit expensive, the quality & atmosphere make it worth considering.
From the very first bite, we knew we were in for a treat! We ordered the kebab Digi & the Meat & Eggplant Tahchin, & both were absolutely delicious. The tahdig was perfectly crispy, & the flavors were rich, aromatic, & well-balanced. The dishes came with a variety of sides, adding to the experience. On top of that, our waitress was incredibly warm & welcoming, offering great recommendations. The cozy & beautifully designed space made the meal even more enjoyable.
I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic & flavorful dining experience!
This is by far the best Iranian (fusion) restaurant in Montreal & one of the best in North America, ... don't miss he chance, ....
That thing they call it'Mille-feuille' is an persian adaptation of mille-feuille , which is the Bugatti of the desserts!, ... crunchy layers, delicious fresh cream, ... some pistachio on top, ..... just try it, ......
An Unforgettable Evening at Maison Inja Tonight, we celebrated a dear friend's birthday at Maison Inja, & the entire experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, the warm ambiance & elegant decor set the perfect tone for a memorable evening. I ordered the eggplant & lamb tahchin, & it was absolutely divine. The crispy, saffron-infused rice was beautifully layered with tender, flavorful lamb & melt-in-your-mouth eggplant. Every bite was rich, aromatic, & perfectly balanced-a true masterpiece of Persian cuisine. Beyond the incredible food, the service was outstanding. The staff was friendly, attentive, & genuinely made us feel welcome. They even helped ensure our birthday surprise went smoothly, adding to the joy of the evening. Maison Inja is more than just a restaurant-it's an experience. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply indulging in authentic Persian flavors, this place is a must-visit. I'll definitely be returning!
