We ordered kebab digi tahchin, as well as meat & eggplant tahchin. I especially loved the meat & eggplant one, it had such an authentic flavor, with a perfect balance of spices & textures that made every bite delicious. The kebab digi was very good too!
The atmosphere was beautiful, showing true Persian style, & the staff were so kind & friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience Iranian cuisine & culture. If I ever have guests & want to introduce them to authentic Persian food, this is absolutely where I'd bring them. Truly well presented!
My friend & I were visiting Montreal for a weekend & this restaurant came recommended. It was not a disappointment! One of the best food we both had! The staff were so nice & passionate about the food. The atmosphere was so warm & inviting. It felt like you entered someone's home & was offered a home cooked meal. Definitely try out this restaurant when in Montreal.
If you are craving for a Persian dish & you want to experience an exquisite atmosphere, this is the place. Staff are kind, food is beyond delicious & it feels like dining in a luxury middle eastern place.
It's unfair to give them less than 5 star, however I want to mention that you should expect a pricy menu.

Très bon service, les employés sont accueillants. Le décor est bien représentatif de la culture. On se sent en immersion totale. Au niveau de la nourriture ; pour ma part j'ai pris le poulet épinards & c'était frais ; une explosion de saveur. Ma collègue a pris celui au jarret de veau est la viande était bien mariné. Overall c'était une bonne expérience, je recommande pour découvrir la nourriture & la culture.

I recently discovered this Persian restaurant & it completely won me over. The Tajin was absolutely incredible-rich, flavorful, & deeply comforting. It tasted like a dish straight from a Persian home, elevated with finesse.
Their wine list is perfectly curated to pair with the food, which took the whole experience to another level. It's rare to find such thoughtful pairings with Persian cuisine.
The ambiance is just as memorable. The space is beautifully decorated, like an authentic Persian grandma's house-warm, nostalgic, & full of charm. Every corner feels like a celebration of culture & tradition.
The staff were kind, attentive, & genuinely helpful, which made everything even better.

On top of that, the staff are incredibly welcoming & attentive, making you feel like part of the family. I was really impressed by this restaurant. From my past experiences with other Persian places, I expected good food ,but this was on another level. The menu is based on real home style recipes, & the flavors reminded me of dishes made by my mom , rich, aromatic, & full of character. The quality of the ingredients stood out right away. You usually only see this level of quality in very expensive restaurants, but here it comes at a fair & reasonable price, which makes it a great value. The décor was beautiful, with a warm & cozy atmosphere that felt welcoming & home-like. The service was also excellent .the staff were kind, attentive, & made the whole experience even better. As someone from the Middle East, where food culture is close to Iran's, I was very happy to find a place in Montreal that stays true to authentic flavors & traditions. This restaurant is a real gem, & I highly recommend it.
I had an amazing experience dining at this Persian restaurant in Montreal. The food was absolutely authentic & of the highest quality, every dish was rich in flavor & beautifully presented. The prices were more than fair for the exceptional quality.
What really stood out, though, was the ambiance, warm, elegant, & inviting. It felt like stepping into a piece of Iran. But above all, the hospitality was unmatched. The staff were genuinely welcoming, kind, & made us feel completely at home from the moment we walked in.

J'ai d'abord découvert le café AUNJA à l'heure du goûter, lors de mon passage à Montréal & j'ai adorée. En sortant du café j'ai vu la Maison INJA à côté & je suis revenue avec des amis cette fois ci quelques jours après. Belle découverte & super experience culinaire, on a voyagé lors de ce repas & on ne peut que les recommander. Bonne continuation à toute l'équipe

The food? Absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was a celebration of flavor & tradition. The saffron rice was fragrant, you can taste the love & authenticity in every bite. The desserts are simply divine.
Service was attentive & kind, & the staff took the time to explain the dishes & make you feel like a welcome guest in their home.

Great experience coming to the restaurant. Had the pleasure of being served by the owner & the waitress who have been with the restaurant since it started. Would recommend strongly to anyone visiting or in Montreal.

Super cute Persian restaurant with lots of charm. We really enjoyed the ambience & the creative take on tahchin! We were a bit worried reading some of the reviews but the tahchin (kebab digi & chicken eggplant) were delicious. They are not your usual tahchin dishes - lots of aromatics that made the dish more complex & enjoyable. Highly recommend giving a try!
Lost a few points because of the pricing (not insane but the prices could be more reasonable for what they are).
