Review Summary

Reviews portray Maison Inja as a warm, cozy haven in Montreal for authentic Persian cuisine, with dishes like tahchin, lamb shank and borek praised for rich, fragrant flavors and thoughtful presentation. The ambiance is repeatedly described as intimate and homey, with Persian decor that makes dining feel like a welcome visit to a family home. Service is often highlighted as attentive and hospitable, though a few visits note occasional delays or inconsistencies when busy. Many reviewers consider the menu prices high but worth the experience, with the quality and atmosphere earning strong praise. Reservations are frequently recommended due to the small space. Some comments raise practical concerns about billing clarity and small annoyances such as water charges or service timing, but these do not outweigh the overall satisfaction. Overall, Maison Inja is celebrated as a hidden gem offering authentic flavors, comforting home style meals, and a memorable, refined yet cozy atmosphere that keeps guests returning.

A true hidden gem with soul & flavor!
I recently discovered this Persian restaurant & it completely won me over. The Tajin was absolutely incredible-rich, flavorful, & deeply comforting. It tasted like a dish straight from a Persian home, elevated with finesse.

Their wine list is perfectly curated to pair with the food, which took the whole experience to another level. It's rare to find such thoughtful pairings with Persian cuisine.

The ambiance is just as memorable. The space is beautifully decorated, like an authentic Persian grandma's house-warm, nostalgic, & full of charm. Every corner feels like a celebration of culture & tradition.

The staff were kind, attentive, & genuinely helpful, which made everything even better.

Highly recommended if you're looking for a soulful dining experience that blends incredible food, wine, & atmosphere. This place is a true gem! 💎

Amazing food & a great vibe! For the quality of the experience, the prices are very reasonable. They also have a nice, affordable wine list with options that pair really well with the dishes.

Maison Inja truly feels like home the moment you walk in. The cozy atmosphere & warm décor give you the sense that you're visiting a friend's house rather than a restaurant. The dishes are infused with beautiful aromas of saffron, making every bite comforting & flavorful. On top of that, the staff are incredibly welcoming & attentive, making you feel like part of the family. Both the quality & presentation of the food are outstanding it's a perfect combination of hospitality & excellence, highly recommend!

I was really impressed by this restaurant. From my past experiences with other Persian places, I expected good food ,but this was on another level. The menu is based on real home style recipes, & the flavors reminded me of dishes made by my mom , rich, aromatic, & full of character. The quality of the ingredients stood out right away. You usually only see this level of quality in very expensive restaurants, but here it comes at a fair & reasonable price, which makes it a great value. The décor was beautiful, with a warm & cozy atmosphere that felt welcoming & home-like. The service was also excellent .the staff were kind, attentive, & made the whole experience even better. As someone from the Middle East, where food culture is close to Iran's, I was very happy to find a place in Montreal that stays true to authentic flavors & traditions. This restaurant is a real gem, & I highly recommend it.
