As an Iranian I could say the vert true & the best version of the Persian dishes. I have tried Albalou poli which is a very memorable & seasonal food with sour cherry, & it was a amaaazing! It was served with pomegranate & sour cherry sauce!
In an Iranian restaurant, hospitality & welcoming guests are very important, but here there was not only none of that, the staff were also rude & inappropriate. so we decided not to order anything & go to another restaurant instead. First impressions matter, & unfortunately, this one was really bad.
When planning to travel Montreal, I was very excited to find & try the cuisine of an Iranian/Persian restaurant. Maison Inja was the first Iranian restaurant to show up in my search in Apple Maps, so I decided to go there. Best choice I could I have made. The restaurant environment was very beautiful & the servers were very friendly. The food itself was AMAZING, both in looks, taste, & texture. I'd say it was meal fit for the Shah & the Shahbanu. I truly recommend this place for anyone looking for traditional Iranian cuisine & look forward to visiting again someday.
I've tried this restaurant again & again, the food is really excellent, & most importantly, the unique decor & the amazing service. It's the chicest Iranian restaurant in Canada & one of the best Iranian restaurants in Montreal. I definitely recommend you try it
The food was incredibly well balanced & perfectly spiced. It was our first time trying Iranian food, & it was such a memorable experience! We had the Adas Polo Tahchin & the Chicken Spinach Tahchin, which was my choice, & I cannot recommend it enough! It literally brought tears to my eyes because it reminded me so much of my grandmother's cooking. We also had Persian tea with cardamom, which was the perfect touch to complete this experience. The ambiance was warm, & inviting. The service was fabulous , our server gave great recommendations & had such lovely energy throughout the evening.
