I visited the restaurant a few weeks ago & had a great experience, which is why I returned this past Friday night with a friend, hoping for another enjoyable evening.
Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing. We arrived around 8 PM to find the restaurant full, but there was no sign or notice indicating that it had been reserved for a private event. While we stood outside trying to understand the situation, a guest informed us that the restaurant was closed for a private function.
To make matters worse, an employee from a neighboring establishment entered the restaurant & locked the door behind them without acknowledging us or offering any explanation.
It was a confusing & unpleasant experience that could have been avoided with clear signage or a simple notice. I hope management will consider implementing better communication & customer service policies for situations like this in the future.

I had an amazing experience dining at this Persian restaurant in Montreal. The food was absolutely authentic & of the highest quality, every dish was rich in flavor & beautifully presented. The prices were more than fair for the exceptional quality.
What really stood out, though, was the ambiance, warm, elegant, & inviting. It felt like stepping into a piece of Iran. But above all, the hospitality was unmatched. The staff were genuinely welcoming, kind, & made us feel completely at home from the moment we walked in.
If you're looking for a place that offers not just great Persian cuisine but a truly memorable experience, this is the spot. Highly recommended!

it's the only Persian restaurant here that beautifully combines a unique, authentic atmosphere with incredibly delicious, high-quality food that feels just like grandma's cooking. It's the kind of place where I can proudly bring my non-Iranian friends & share a real taste of our culture. Thank you for creating such a special restaurant in Montreal. J'ai d'abord découvert le café AUNJA à l'heure du goûter, lors de mon passage à Montréal & j'ai adorée. En sortant du café j'ai vu la Maison INJA à côté & je suis revenue avec des amis cette fois ci quelques jours après. Belle découverte & super experience culinaire, on a voyagé lors de ce repas & on ne peut que les recommander. Bonne continuation à toute l'équipe
I don't have enough nice words to review this place. Our experience was outstanding from the very beginning to the end. It's hard to find a place where everything you try tastes like perfection, & that happened at Maison Inja. The flavors are out of this world. Service was outstanding as well.
The food was amazing, we had the ground beef stuffed in crispy saffron rice, tasted really good. overall the ambience was good but I wish they played Persian music instead of French since this is a Persian restaurant. Prices are good for the quality of food & service.
Dining at Maison Inja felt like being transported straight to Tehran. From the moment you walk in, you're embraced by a warm, elegant atmosphere with Persian music, soft lighting, & subtle details that reflect true Iranian hospitality.
The food? Absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was a celebration of flavor & tradition. The saffron rice was fragrant, you can taste the love & authenticity in every bite. The desserts are simply divine.
Service was attentive & kind, & the staff took the time to explain the dishes & make you feel like a welcome guest in their home.

Delicious food! So flavourful & fragrant. High quality & made with care. Service was excellent 👍 the waitress was friendly & timely. Ambiance was very cozy.
Great experience coming to the restaurant. Had the pleasure of being served by the owner & the waitress who have been with the restaurant since it started. Would recommend strongly to anyone visiting or in Montreal.
One of the best meals I've had in ages. Started with the velvety beet appetizer, followed by the eggplant veal tahchin. Every bite was deeply flavorful & balanced. The server was kind & very efficient & the layout was warm & richly decorated without being gaudy.

The atmosphere is cozy in this home-like restaurant. Food is pretty decent & exotic for foreigners but unfortunately it is outrageously expensive for what it is. Happy to have tried but I believe that there are better places for this price range.
